Historia
The excursion was a mess. Sal's trust in his team is at rock bottom from the actions of another in the final fight. He now needs to enter the Tower and fight demons with the same person who betrayed him. As if that wasn't enough, he's pretty sure the former Super-Rookie and wonder kid on his team is actually a ticking time bomb, just waiting to explode.

Historia
Reidon Ward's first semester at the Galens Institute hasn't been without reward. In just over half a year he's gone from the weakest cadet at school to one of the strongest in his class, and there's no one left who would argue that his Device, Shido, isn't the most terrifying CAD they've ever laid eyes on. Still, Rei knows that his climb has barely begun, like he knows that the true fight is only just starting. After all… The Sectionals tournament has arrived. Rei, along with Aria, Viv, Catcher, and a couple unexpected squadmates, are about to face the first real battle of their careers.

Worth the wait! I hope we don’t have as long to wait for book 3. Book 1 is one of my top 5 favorite fantasy books in my library. The pacing and book 2 can get a little slow but it’s still everything that I was hoping for.

Historia
Arthur lives with his father, a fallen but proud former noble, in Border Village #49, along with the other good folks condemned to toil in service to the Baron. But Arthur has an edge: a stolen heart card that secretly fell into his possession, thanks to a dragon. It’s a priceless source of power for the Baron and the tyrant will kill to get it back. Invaluable, too, to a young man of spellcasting ambitions.

Awesome
Revisado: 12-29-22
It was nice to have a Litrpg story that was appropriate for a younger audience. This one was excellent, and I will listen to it again. Great magic system, not a big emphasis on stats but good characters and an engaging story.

Historia
La moria grandissima began its terrible journey across the European and Asian continents in 1347, leaving unimaginable devastation in its wake. Five years later, 25 million people were dead, felled by the scourge that would come to be called the Black Death. The Great Mortality is the extraordinary epic account of the worst natural disaster in European history - a drama of courage, cowardice, misery, madness, and sacrifice that brilliantly illuminates humankind's darkest days when an old world ended and a new world was born.

A broad modern review of the bubonic plague
Revisado: 12-21-22
Lots of interesting individual accounts of medieval plague victims, tracking country by country as the plague spread across Eurasia. Includes the recent DNA identification of bubonic plague, and offers a range of interpretations. I quite enjoyed it.

I totally lost sleep to this one. It is very engaging story. Ran a bit long in areas, but it is so good, you do not mind spending the extra time with the characters.

Historia
For generations, everything has been getting faster, better, and cheaper. Finally, we reached the point that almost anything you could ever want could be sent to your home within days - even hours - of when you decided you wanted it. America made that happen, but now America has lost interest in keeping it going.

Fascinating
Revisado: 06-14-22
Zeihan uses his take on a few main theories, deppopulation and global security, to forecast a much different and depressing feature than what we’ve seen in the past 60 years. His premise is strong and undeniable when you look at the facts, which makes his conclusions feel a little like cognitive dissonance because some of them are so counter to what we have been told and come to expect for our entire lives. The content is easily explained and very accessible and filled with examples. Highly recommend.

All Magnus Bane wanted was a vacation - a lavish trip across Europe with Alec Lightwood, the shadowhunter who against all odds is finally his boyfriend. But as soon as the pair settles in Paris, an old friend arrives with news about a demon-worshiping cult called the Crimson Hand that is bent on causing chaos around the world. A cult that was apparently founded by Magnus himself. Years ago. As a joke. Now, Magnus and Alec must race across Europe to track down the Crimson Hand and its elusive new leader before the cult can cause any more damage.

Very Poor Audio Quility
Revisado: 02-03-20
The sound quality on the recording is really bad. For me, I could not tolerate it for more than 10 min and am off to read the book instead. It is disappointing since I was looking forward to this one and it has such good reviews. If you are sensitive to sound quality/narration issues make sure you hear the sample before you purchase this one.
Note: My rating on overall and story are based on the small amount I heard and overall excitement for this book, but I DNF.

My FallenCon agenda is simple: sit on a couple of panels and let people meet the real me. Jesse Garvy - mod of a famous Twitch channel and, if I ever come out of my shell, future vlogger. I definitely didn't plan to sleep with a moody tattooed fan-artist, but he's gorgeous and can't keep his hands off me. There's a first time for everything, and my first time with a guy turns out to be the hottest experience of my life. But the next day, I find out my moody fan-artist is Ian Larsen AKA Cherry - someone I've known online for years.

This series makes me want to watch Twitch...
Revisado: 11-13-17
and I hate watching ppl play video games, but I love these characters so much and they feel so real. The authors do a great job of pulling me into the world of gaming and vlogging while using it as the backdrop for this series. I think I might be a little older then the target audience, but I absolutely love it! I still think book 1 was the best in the series, but they are all multiple listen material. AUDIBLE 20 REVIEW SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY.

Historia
Demon Accords number 10. When a hunter is brutally mauled in northern Maine, it's presumed that a black bear is the killer. But an astute local deputy suspects a more supernatural element. His call for assistance is answered by the supernatural community sending one of their very best. If it takes a thief to catch a thief, who do you use to catch a werewolf? But nothing is ever simple in the preternatural world. There's more here than meets the eye... nose... ear... or fang.

Best Series Ever?
Revisado: 08-23-16
OK maybe not ever, but it is quickly becoming one of my all time favorites and it is one of my go to rereads when I need something to listen to and there is nothing interesting in my library. I am glad we see more of Declan and Stacia in this episode.
I am not going to go in to a plot summary, but this book is mostly outside on New York and Vermont locals of the prior books, so we see some new characters and get a deeper knowledge of what else os out there. We also get a good idea of Omega's all-knowing power - scary. I was sorry to see the Sorrow personality was gone, that was some of the most humorous stuff in DA8 and DA9. But overall another highly enjoyable installment.
Oh yeah and JPC- best narrator ever!!
