What would have made An Invitation to Seduction better?
I found this story promising in the beginning, I liked the plot descriptions ... however, I soon became quite irritated with the heroine of the story. She is both written and portrayed by the narrator as a very naive, whiny and simple character. She does not evolve at all as the story progressed. I had to really make an effort to finish the story as I didn't care one bit about what would happen to the main characters.
Would you ever listen to anything by Lorraine Heath again?

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
The hero was ok but as he is clearly head over heels with a very irritating heroine, my favourable opinion of him was quickly lost as the plot progressed.

What disappointed you about Black Hills?
I usually like Nora Roberts but Black Hills was a let down. The story was long and kind of boring and the characters uninteresting.
What could Nora Roberts have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Written another storyline with other characters.
