Great Narrator, Better Story
Revisado: 01-24-23
The narrator had a pleasant voice with a great talent for accents. The voices were all different and it brought more life to the characters. Story itself was really great! I hadn't read/heard a story that kept up the momentum in a long while. For me, even the bits and pieces of the FMC's background weren't boring nor did it feel like it was filler details. From the beginning to the end, it flowed nicely with many parts that made you laugh. I am hooked and looking forward to the next one.

Lacy Marie Crocker can hardly believe it's been a year since her return home to New Orleans. There hasn't been a dull moment since opening her pet boutique last summer, and thanks to the popularity of Lacy's organic pet treats and the arrival of the National Pet Pageant, Lacy desperately needs some help before she is overrun by the demand for pupcakes and crinolines. Everything is going spectacularly until Viktor Petrov, the pageant emcee, takes a spill from the balcony during dress rehearsal.

Careful.... you will not want to stop
Revisado: 11-15-22
This 4th book in the series has ended in a satisfactory way and it has been an awesome trip to take reading this series. The mystery could have been a little more intense but overall it was a very fun read.

Tying with Cider Shop Mystery
Revisado: 11-14-22
This series falls in line with her other works but differs as it feels more mature yet playful. It has a little bit of a twist that is refreshing from the usual structure. This book feels more genuine. Enjoyed the narrator telling the story, too. The performance was fluid and each character distinguisable. Definitely recommend this book

Kind of rushed
Revisado: 10-28-22
Love the narrator! I like the flow of the series when it comes to the crimes. However, Jenny and Tony's storyline felt oddly placed and rushed in resolve yet a third pount of view was a nice change to the suspense. Definitely cannot get enough of Zoe Zola and she was most definitely the star in this one! Some pronounciations were altered but it didn't bother me enough; just kind of funny.

Need a little more development and intrigue
Revisado: 10-21-22
Loved this installment as it added a little more mystery. However, few details could have been developed more. The narrator is just amazing and definitely brings the story to life.

It was good but not satisfying
Revisado: 10-14-22
The mystery this time around seemed a little dragged on. As welcomed as mystery #2 was, it wasn't developed well and was cut short when it could have gone further. I appreciate the epilogue, but would have also loved to know what all the characters had been up to. These are characters I fell in love altogether. Just as its predecessor, it was good but the ending wasn't very satisfying.

Love this series buuuuut...
Revisado: 09-30-22
I am truly loving this series to the point that I am considering purchasing the books to own. My only caveat is this book has a different narrator. At the beginning, she is pretty slow and I'm not fond of sultry slow drawl. Towards the end, however, the narration does get better. Bo still sounds stiff but I'll chuck that to the writing. lol

Good story
Revisado: 09-23-22
This is mt first ever Audible book and I loved it! It was such an easy book that I was surprised how enthralled I became by it. Like binge watching a series you had dismissed and suddenly cannot look away from. The reading was good and I applaud all voice actors, however, for me, it seemed flat in Bo's part. Aside from that, it's such a great experience that I purchased the next two books in series half way through this one!
