Perfect easy listen and adorable story

I ate this audiobook up. I usually listen to fantasy/romance and wanted a break. This was perfect. I giggled, felt sad, happy, giddy, frustrated and steamy. I’ve been looking for a good book with a female lead that I could relate to. Freya is a plus size girl who is a bit introverted and found love in her best friend. Who doesn’t love a sexy Scottish man? The voice actors do amazing with the accents and acting. I’ve never read any other book by this author and there is hints of other storylines mixed in this but it doesn’t take away from the plot. It is a perfect stand alone but does make me curious about the other characters love stories. I might just have to look at the other series. Seriously recommend this book if you’re looking for a cute, funny and a little steamy story.

Finally a soft male lead in fantasy

This is a slow burn fantasy with a soft male lead and it’s worth the wait. The character development is amazing! I’ve been craving a strong female and soft male romance and this is it. Plus it’s from the males POV which is refreshing.
