Historia
After all of their adventures, the crew of House Louisville was ready to sit back and take it easy. But a surprise visitor informed them they owed millions of pearls to the Bank. The Exchequer was willing to take them all as indentured servants for the Bank and let them work decades to pay off their debt. That would mean splitting up the House, though, and nobody was willing to let that happen.

I like the concept
Revisado: 03-11-22
The concept of the series is good and I like the approach to the elements. The protagonist gets ambiguous in age. There are inconsistencies. Character does something then a paragraph later seems to have not been involved. Little story line inconsistencies that could have been smoothed out. The protagonists’ favorite thing to say and be told is “I don’t understand.” Then virtually every other character tells him, “you don’t understand.” Then proceed to either not clarify or give a round about “answer”. This tactic comes off as trying to add mystery and layers to knowledge of the world but is used too frequently and with little pay off.
I’ve listened through to this book and intend to continue. The story is good, could have been great with some more refining.

Harper Fox doesn’t mis
Revisado: 02-14-22
Every story I have listened to by Harper Fox has been incredible.
Salisbury Key is full of emotion and superb characterization. Each of the characters feels so alive I miss them when I’m done. The story is a perfect blend of romance, mystery, and just great humanity.
I don’t want to give anything away so all I can say is every emotion is so perfectly captured it feels like I’m living the story as it unfolds.
The narrator Hanish Long is a wonderful voice actor who really brings the story to life. He makes the characters distinguishable and never over acts. His delivery is spot on.
All in all, highly recommend.

Audible candy
Revisado: 01-02-19
Nick Podehl always brings his a-game with vocal performances. Absolutely love what he brings to the story.
Aleron Kong is a great story teller. This book and the series is the perfect escape. It’s like candy for my heart, in the best possible way. Emotionally pleasing taking this journey with the characters and exploring the Land.
