I read The Dark Tower series and have enjoyed listening to the tales again. The performance is absolutely amazing and was sad to hear a different narrator for the next book. However, give this one a listen if you’ve listened to the previous books, you won’t be disappointed!

Starts out somewhat interesting, but quickly spirals into a drama filled soliloquy. Any meaningful or remotely interesting science is overlooked and substituted with crying voice actors over dramatize the entire story. Don’t waste your time if you are a true sci-fi lover.

Great book for anyone wanting to understand the systems embedded in America’s modern military. The book starts out great with a lot of interesting information and lessons to be learned from General Marshall’s life. However, as the book goes on it gets rather dull. The author seems to drone on until the end of Marshall’s life just to finally arrive there. Perhaps keeping such a lengthy book interesting is an impossible task, and perhaps the inner workings of the Pentagon cannot be made more interesting, but the fascinating details and lessons at the front of the book don’t seem to exist towards its end.

This was a quick story, very engaging and Zachary Quinto did a fabulous job narrating. There is quite a bit of swearing so don't listen to this on a speaker near your children. 😀 And it was FREE!!

Great story and a great narrator, John Lee! I've enjoyed all of the books that Mr. Lee has narrated by Mr. Reynolds.

I have enjoyed Clive Cussler books, especially the Issac Bell series. This does not dissapoint! Scott Brick is ny far my favorite narrator on Audible.

I really wanted to like this but...it starts out slow. I couldn't tell if it was the storyline or the storytelling. The reader sounds like the automated voices and there just wasn't enough life out into the voices. A waste of a credit for sure!
