Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

Excellent mystery / thriller!
Revisado: 04-18-16
This story line drew me in more than most. The performance was great except for one of the voices -- really, there was nothing wrong with her except that her voice got on my nerves slightly.
There is a plethora of twists and surprises present in this story line. Paula Hawkins shows that she is an exceptional writer in this work and I'm sure I'll be looking into her other works.
This book is pretty easy to chunk -- I didn't have any problem stopping at parts and picking back up later. However, be aware that one of the timelines (from one of the characters) is off from the other two as that could cause you some confusion.
Excellent read -- I would recommend this book to anyone with a taste for young adult literature.

Historia
August Shroeder, a burned-out teacher, has been sober since his 19-year-old son died. Every year he’s spent the summer on the road, but making it to Yellowstone this year means everything. The plan had been to travel there with his son, but now August is making the trip with Philip’s ashes instead. An unexpected twist of fate lands August with two extra passengers for his journey, two half-orphans with nowhere else to go. What none of them could have known was how transformative both the trip - and the bonds that develop between them- would prove....

Emotionally Excellent
Revisado: 02-29-16
Parts were certainly dark, as some other reviewers have noted, but the emotion was not without purpose. This book is not the best I've ever enjoyed but you will get a feel for the characters and develop compassion for them. This book is also an excellent study on human psychology so far is it is concerned with dealing with loss.
In short, I would not hesitate to recommend this book. The characters are related and develop themselves well throughout the book. You won't want to put the book down at parts!

Don't pass this one up!
Revisado: 02-22-16
Great story. Overall plot slightly predictable but there were plenty of twists, turns, and the sort to keep me guessing. In one sentence: I loved this book!
This was actually my first audiobook and I couldn't have had a better experience.
