A really fascinating story that’s only augmented but. Seeing the movie , it’s a singular life and unlike most rock bios. This is about servicing mankind.

Historia
What do you do when you realise you have everything you think you've ever wanted but still feel completely empty? What do you do when it all starts to fall apart? The second volume of Moby's extraordinary life story is a journey into the dark heart of fame and the demons that lurk just beneath the bling and bluster of the celebrity lifestyle. In summer 1999, Moby released the album that defined the millennium, PLAY. Like generation-defining albums before it, PLAY was ubiquitous, and catapulted Moby to superstardom.

Heartbreaking and Beautiful
Revisado: 11-14-22
Heartbreaking and beautiful does kind of sum it up. If Porcelain seems like a skimmed surface, Then it Fell Apart is the deep dive into the excess and self loathing than can only come with Platinum records. It’s fearless in its honesty, and the authors self reflection, it’s not one would imagine an easy practice. This is an epic tale told with grace and charm and an almost straight man esque delivery that would make Jack Benny proud. I lik Moby the musician, I love Moby the writer.

Historia
The authorized biography of the most notorious rock manager of all time, Peter Grant, best known for his work with Led Zeppelin. Often acknowledged as the "fifth member of Led Zeppelin", Grant's story has appeared in fragments across countless Zeppelin biographies, but none has explored who this brilliant and intuitive manager yet flawed and sometimes dangerous man truly was. No one has successfully captured the scope of his personality or his long-lasting impact on the music business. Acclaimed author and journalist Mark Blake seeks to rectify that.

Takes a bit to get used to...
Revisado: 05-24-19
Peter grant is an fascinating
Man and his influence as a manager can’t be praised enough. That said this book is a slow starter and the narration is a bit contrary-!it feels a bit like his story is being told by a children’s author. But once you get past that it’s well worth the time.
