Herman Wouk's sweeping epic of World War II stands as the crowning achievement of one of America's most celebrated storytellers. Like no other books about the war, Wouk's spellbinding narrative captures the tide of global events - and all the drama, romance, heroism, and tragedy of World War II - as it immerses us in the lives of a single American family drawn into the very center of the war's maelstrom.

Great book
Revisado: 02-17-15
This is an awesome historical fiction book about the actions of the Henry family leading up to during and shortly after World War II. The winds of war is the first book, word remembrance is second. Both early great books, he Henry family is very interesting and being a military family, since they're not together much, you get to see a lot of different areas of things that were going out in the world during the 1940s.The narration is awesome. I would highly recommend this to any friend or anyone. It's very informative, various Historically accurate, And very entertaining. Does a great job of showing different personality types and also the emotions, love, anger, concern, compassion, And also the absolute determination of the United States of America to not only beat the Japanese for bombing Pearl Harbor, but to also be Hitler first so that it doesn't take over all of Europe, Then after they find out about the concentration camps, to absolutely destroy the Nazi empire for the atrocities that I committed by murdering millions upon millions of Jewish and other innocent people.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes I would recommend this book, as a matter of fact, I'm buying a friend a print copy.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Ted, White, and Blue?
Ted's word association to give an idea of what he believes in. Ted's Christian stand point. I also agree with his anti-drug stance.
What about Ted Nugent’s performance did you like?
With Ted being the author and reader, the listener gets to hear the emotion in his voice when he intends it to be there, rather than with another reader.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Bring Back God, the Constitution and Morals to America.
Any additional comments?
Love him or hate him, Ted Nugent is informed with stats to back up most of the things he says. I don't agree with everything he says, However his stand on Christianity, America, the Constitution and Family are very true.
