The biographical parts were interesting, but I could do without the fawning hero-worship functioning as Pulitzer prize-winning, progressive propaganda so effusive it would make Chairman Mao blush.

Starting something? Read this. It will take you all of an hour or two. Then go back and read it again and do the exercises he suggests. This book is @philmjonesuk follow up to his excellent book Exactly What to Say, which I read four times in 2 days because it was that good (and also that short). This book is especially applicable to entrepreneurs but also works for anyone who is starting anything, whether it's a book, career, family, college, or anything else. #exactlywheretostart

Didn't like it at the beginning, loved it by the end

When the book started, I wasn't enjoying it. I didn't like the context, and I felt like there was no way that there could be any redeeming value in it. but once I hit about halfway, I started to enjoy it more and find more value in it. by the end I had fallen in love with it.

Practical ideas to improve education

Constructive, workable, practical ideas for dramatically improving the education of our children. There are only two things in our way, the will to make it happen, and a combination of centralized government bureaucracy and special interests that make so much money off of our kids that they won't give up without a fight.

I didn't want to read this but I'm glad I did.

I resisted reading this book for years. it was too popular, and from what I had seen of David I didn't think he was my type of guy. but I finally gave in and read it because I felt like if it's that popular there must be something to it. I'm glad I read it because David is absolutely my type of guy. although I haven't been through anything like what he's been through, I have felt a small piece of what he's felt and been through a tiny bit of what he's been through and that allowed me to relate and see that if he can do what he's done then maybe I can do more than what I'm doing.

Awesome book to understand good nutrition
