Fan of Kingpins...not a fan of this one or the narrator

This is the first book with Carl Weber's name on the cover that I didn't like. The narrator is not helping the story at all. The story is already slow and drawn out; add the narrator who doesn't sound like he understands that this book is about Kingpins and street life. I can't even get through the book and will most likely be returning it.

What did you love best about Animal 3: Revelations?

This book had me on the edge of my seat! I loved how the author tied enough information from the previous books so that new readers could know important history about the characters, yet not too much information so that existing fans like myself felt it redundant.

Which character – as performed by Cary Hite – was your favorite?

Black Lotus is my favorite. It was good to see a more caring and nurturing side to her in this book, yet when the blades strike...

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The epilogue, enough said.

I can't wait for the next book in this series.

My favorite character was Sean. I liked his sincerity and strength. Sunny was his kryptonite!

Yes. This is one of those books that you can listen to again an not be bored.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Sara. She seemed to be the closest person to sane!

She was excellent as usual!!

Where does Debbie Doesn't Do It Anymore rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was a decent book. Although it had its slow moments.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I loved hearing the story from the perspective of a porn industry actress. I often wondered how they separated working sex and real intimacy with a person that they love.

Which scene was your favorite?

The body in the bathroom was my favorite. Her reaction to her husband's death and the fact that he was with another woman. First, what horrible way to die, and second who wants to be the wife of that man?

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Prada Plan 4?

The most memorable moment for me was the wine cellar scenes. Both were so intense but for very diffrent reasons!

Have you listened to any of Cary Hite’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Cary Hite is one of my favorite narrators and his work is always nothing less than excellent!!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely!!! I saved it (it was hard) for a long bus ride where I knew that I could listen to it in one sitting!

What made the experience of listening to The Choir Director 2 the most enjoyable?

I loved the twists and turns. Just when I thought that I had figured it out, I decided that I hadn't figured it out!

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was First Lady. I loved how the book showed her vunerable side as well as her strength.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

Bishop. He went through so many emotions and I enjoyed how the narrator took us through the emotional journey with him.

Knowing that this was her personal journey was inspiring!

We are all human and are not immune to the tests and trials of this world. However, by learning who we are, acknowledging where we are and taking corrective action we can overcome.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character in this book was Matthew. I feel like I have watched him grow up. It was nice to see him as a young man.

Who was the most memorable character of The Prodigal Son and why?

The most memorable character was Matthew's wife. I enjoyed the direction that they went with her being crazy due to post partum depression. Nice twist.
