Pretty good
Revisado: 02-22-25
Good character building but honestly kind of goes nowhere for such a long book. Liked it enough to keep going to the second one but if it doesn’t go anywhere won’t do the third.

Historia
Cradle isn’t over yet. Lindon’s journey may have ended, but there are still more tales to tell. The stories in this collection will show you the world after Cradle, those left behind, and even some legends from long ago. Witness the first Uncrowned King tournament. Visit the Monarchs and their voyages in the lands beyond. Get to know the Abidan in their homes, and meet the people of new worlds as they cross paths with familiar faces. And, of course, check in on some old friends.

Feels like a cash grab
Revisado: 02-08-25
I dunno. This is one of my top three fantasy series of all time after listening to hundreds of audiobooks. But this just feels like some random thoughts put together in a short cash grab. Should have just let it end or started a new series. So disjointed it doesn’t really draw you in. Sad tbh.

Historia
Wolf of the North: It has been generations since the Northlands have seen a hero worthy of the title. Many have made the claim, but few have lived to defend it. Timid, weak, and bullied, Wulfric is as unlikely a candidate as there could be. Jorundyr's Path: Jorundyr's Path is walked only by the brave. As Wulfric pursues Adalhaid's Blood Debt, he soon learns that the path to revenge is never easy. The Blood Debt: A blade fit for a hero. An army for a tyrant. A reckoning long awaited, and a tale reaching its end.

Great, little hard to track
Revisado: 06-13-24
Really like this author. Great at combat writing and character development. Only complaint was how many characters there are, found it really hard to keep up with for an audio book. Ended up just listening anyway and was lost in the middle but by the end they all kind of come together and it’s easier.

Good series. Glad it didn’t fall off
Revisado: 07-28-23
So many series get worse over time or they bungle the ending. While this ending was satisfying I do feel the part with the mad king was terribly anti climactic. Otherwise one of my favorite series.

Felt like Lightbringer Angel
Revisado: 06-19-23
Repha'im is a clear copy of Andross from Lightbringer. Kylar felt too dumb and reminded me of a different character. Maybe too much self loathing and suffering.

Historia
Rezkin is an elite warrior who aims to restore order in Ashai after Caydean's attack on the King's Tournament transformed former allies and trading partners into enemies. With no army and only a ragtag group of refugees, Rezkin must wrest control of the kingdom from the mad and powerful usurper, who seems bent on destruction, and this may not be the biggest challenge. If he fails, the kingdom will be ripped apart, and Rezkin will have violated Rule 1 - to protect and honor his friends.
