Another Great Reacher book.
Revisado: 12-25-18
I've listened to every other Jack Reacher novel and love them all. It was difficult to understand who was saying what dialog at times because the narrator didn't use separate voices like the regular narrator, Dick Hill. It wasn't bad, I'm just accustomed to Dick Hill as Reacher.

Loved the material and format
Revisado: 02-03-15
The material was great and the narrative was pleasant to listen to. I was skeptical when I found out it was a "college course" but it was easy to follow.

Captivating Read
Revisado: 11-23-14
Would you listen to No Angel again? Why?
Probably not but that's nothing against the book itself. I just don't really reread books because there is so many new choices out there.
What did you like best about this story?
It's honest look at the path that was taken and the challenges that the author dealt with.
What about Mel Foster’s performance did you like?
Mel is an excellent narrator. I would listen to a book that I normally probably wouldn't listen to just because he is the one narrating it.
If you could give No Angel a new subtitle, what would it be?
Ummm, I don't know?
Any additional comments?
This was a great read and I was a little depressed when it was over.

Captivating story.
Revisado: 10-01-14
Where does Hero Found rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This was among the top of my list of captivating books that I have listened too. I found myself sitting in my car longer than necessary just to find out what happened next.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Dieter Dengle, whom the book is about was my favorite. He was the kind of guy that people wish they were.
What does Todd McLaren bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Todd was an excellent narrator that was able to have distinctive accents for the various characters and pronounce the Laotian and Vietnamese cities correctly.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It did make me a little misty eyed at the end.
Any additional comments?
This was a well written and well narrated book. It described Dieter Dengle's history very well and told about what happened to the other people involved at the end. This book left me wanting to read about other POWs during the Vietnam war.

Good book but horrible sound editing.
Revisado: 06-08-14
What did you love best about Catch the Sky?
It was an interesting topic and it progressed smoothly. The author told about his progress and challenges and threw in some humor as well.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Catch the Sky?
Some of the rescues that were described.
Have you listened to any of Michael Sears’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
N/A
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Parts of it made me laugh and parts of it made me sad. I wouldn't say either was extreme though.
Any additional comments?
The book had an overall good flow to it but the sound editor did a horrible job. You could tell when he spliced different takes together as they did not match at all and some seemed to repeat some words. I believe that the narrator did a fairly good job but the sound editor did not do him or the book justice. I still loved the book but was disappointed that the publisher would put out such low quality editing.
