Historia
Bennie Rosato, the founder of the Rosato & DiNunzio law firm, hides her big heart beneath her tough-as-nails exterior, and she doesn't like to fail. Now a case from her past shows her how differently things might have turned out. Thirteen years ago, Bennie Rosato took on Jason Leftavick, a 12-year-old boy who was sent to a juvenile detention center after fighting a class bully. Bennie couldn't free Jason, and to this day it's the case that haunts her.

Terrific
Revisado: 11-03-15
Would you listen to Corrupted again? Why?
Yes it was so riveting and held my attention I could not stop listening therefore I want to listen a little slower so as not to miss a thought or word.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Bennie. She was so real I thought I was there in court
What does Kate Burton bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She brought the words alive and real.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
YES!
Any additional comments?
I loved Lisa's books in the beginning, being Italian, I love the family characters. Then her books lost my interest and I was very disappointed in her writings, however, with this book it like she came alive again and is back on top of my list and can't wait for her next book.

Historia
In this number one New York Times best-selling novel of first love and second chances, former high school sweethearts confront the painful truths of their past to build a promising future - together. In the spring of 1984, high school students Amanda Collier and Dawson Cole fell deeply, irrevocably in love. Though they were from opposite sides of the tracks, their love for one another seemed to defy the realities of life in their small town in North Carolina. But as the summer of their senior year came to a close, unforeseen events would tear the young couple apart.

This will be a Best Seller
Revisado: 03-02-11
Wow! What a great story, wonderful characters, and a supurb narrator. This is the best Nora Roberts novel, and I listened and read many. I just know it will make the best seller's list at once and be there a long time. The book will hold your attention from begining to end with not being able to put it down and still not wanting it to end. I can't wait for her next book now.

Historia
"Of all of my novels, After the Night remains one of my personal favorites – and Faith Devlin and Gray Rouillard are two of my favorite characters. Faith is strong, proud, and fearless, and Gray – well, he’s just downright sexy. Faith’s search for the truth about the devastating scandal surrounding her mother and Gray’s father blazes with intrigue. Add some sultry Southern hear, and you’ve got a real scorcher of a listen." Not so Good!
Revisado: 09-04-10
Except for Faith and Gray there was very little character build up with the other subjects in this book. Also a lot of the things that happened in the book were unrealistic, like the swim under the dock. The love making was brutal and again unreal especially the public restroom episode.

Historia
When Elspeth Noblin dies of cancer, she leaves her London apartment to her twin nieces, Julia and Valentina. These two American girls never met their English aunt; they only knew that their mother, too, was a twin, and Elspeth her sister. Julia and Valentina are semi-normal American teenagers - with seemingly little interest in college, finding jobs, or anything outside their cozy home in the suburbs of Chicago, and with an abnormally intense attachment to one another.

Powerful!
Revisado: 03-10-09
What a wonderful story, one that was hard to leave yet I did not want it to finish. Kristin Hannah is a writer that makes you feel a part of this wonderful book and feel part of Tully and Kate's life, while narrater Susan Ericksen helps you feel every feeling possible throughout the 30 year friendship of these two women and their families. Eighteen hours just wasn't enough I hope Kristin writes a follow up. This is a must read, I am so happy I found it on Audible.
