Historia
Thirteen years ago, Cole and Lisa Shipley were fostering an infant with hopes of adopting her. Overnight everything was turned upside down, when the child’s mother bled to death on their front doorstep. Her last words: He’s coming here…for her! Save her. Afraid, bewildered, and with a baby in their arms, they fled. The longer they hid, the guiltier they looked. Now in a small Colorado town under assumed identities, they’ve been seemingly safe.

Terrific book. Suspenseful, intricate plot. Narrator does a great job conveying the intensity of the story.

Great ending to the series
Revisado: 05-03-24
Upon starting this book, I was sure I was not going to like it. I didn't care for the characters and the story just didn't appeal to me. However, shortly thereafter, the characters began to take on a warmth and genuine humaness. I ended up thoroughly enjoying the book and am disappointed that I have finished it. I truly looked forward to reading it each day. I strongly recommend it.

Better and better
Revisado: 04-13-24
Each one of the Blue Sky Hill books is better than the last. This book mixes homelessness, predatory lending, and human trafficking with power of friendship and the love of family. It fosters a great sense of hope. Truly an enjoyable read.
