Historia
The Edge lies between worlds, on the border between the Broken, where people shop at Wal-Mart and magic is a fairy tale—and the Weird, where blueblood aristocrats rule, changelings roam, and the strength of your magic can change your destiny…Charlotte de Ney is as noble as they come, a blueblood straight out of the Weird. But even though she possesses rare magical healing abilities, her life has brought her nothing but pain.

Good storytelling
Revisado: 10-16-24
I love all of Illona Andrews stories. I appreciate the way this series goes forward in time with people related to the last book(s), but not centered on the people in the last book(s).
I also like the humanization of characteristics or traits within ourselves that we don't want to like or accept. It makes the characters very real.

Incredibly Objective
Revisado: 06-24-24
I absolutely loved how the author was able to clarify when she was expressing an opinion, vs shining an objective light on how the listener can use questions and tools to objectively figure out their own opinions, thoughts, feelings, and comfort within the bulky topic of Polyamory.
The narrator also did a fantastic job of pacing, pronunciation, and tone.
