Historia
Hudson Ashford, a former Navy SEAL turned private security expert, has sworn off romance—especially when it comes to his best friend’s sister. Between protecting clients, running his bar, and avoiding the political spotlight as the son of a prominent governor, Hudson keeps his life tightly controlled, leaving no room for complications—or emotions. Isabella Costa, a headstrong billionaire with a compassionate heart, refuses to give up on the future she dreamed of with the man she thought she could never have.

Amazing!
Revisado: 01-24-25
Love Ava and Connor's voices! They bring the story alive! Love the cameo of Joseph!
Book 3 of the Costa series starts strong. Isabella “Bella” and Hudson have been secretly in love with each other for years. Hudson is best friends with her brothers and also works with Bella.
After an op Bella and Hudson get into a car accident that puts them in the hospital. After finding out it was no accident, they try to find out who is after them. Secrets come to light and as they work on figuring things out, they both struggle to keep their feelings quiet.
Sahin is one extraordinary writer. Her characters are so real and well developed that I forget they are fictional. As Hudson struggles with his past and not feeling he is good enough for Bella, we see him slowly overcoming his past and finally letting himself show his love for Bella.
This is a fast paced suspenseful story that catches you at the start and doesn’t let you go. I just couldn’t stop reading and finished it in a day.

Wow Jesse and Ella...finally together!
Revisado: 09-26-22
Narrator review:
There is nothing like reading a great book, but listening to the characters come alive? There is nothing better and Ava Lucas & Tyler Johnson did just that! They made Jesse and Ella more real and the story felt more alive!
Book Review:
We FINALLY find out why Ella and Jesse have soo much chemistry! The action starts from the beginning and never stops! Brittney pulls you in and doesn’t let us down.
Jesse and Ella's story is a true love story. We got all the answers to the questions we had from A.J. 's book in the Stealth Ops series.
Jesse is one HOT broody, broken man. He felt he wasn’t worthy to be loved by Ella and to have her. Ella loved Jesse forever. She was willing to have him in whatever way he let her. Jesse tried to keep her at arms length to protect her from the evil he lived with.
When danger came to Ella anyway, Jesse and Ella fake their marriage so that he could protect her.
All the depths of emotion were felt throughout this book, sadness, joy, heartache, suspense, lies, but most of all love. Another awesome read from Brittney! How can she keep writing such well developed characters and worlds that they live in? I know that every book that comes out is better than the last! I can’t wait for more Falcon Falls Security!

Love Roman and Harper!
Revisado: 10-15-21
Narrator review:
Heather Costa and Gregory Salinas really brought to life Roman and Harper. I can listen to them tell Roman and Harper’s love story everyday. Definitely one of my re-listens for sure!
Book Review:
Brittney, Brittney...what have you done! Asher was my favorite! But let me just say this ROMAN! OMG! I never was jealous of a fictional character but I want to be Harper soo bad! This is the first book that was just killing me with anticipation! And let me tell you Brittney did not disappoint with this amazing book. It has love lost, evil family, secrets, lies, suspense and finally true soulful love!
Roman is fighting a battle that no one knows about, not even his brother Bravo and Echo team. He feels like he must suffer alone. And because he has an end date, he feels he can’t be with the love of his life, Harper. Roman quietly suffers while pushing the best thing in his life away.
Harper is a strong woman. She has been through soo much and it doesn’t bring her down. She fights for what she wants and fights for what is right. Harper and Roman are made for each other, they are 2 souls that belong together.
Brittney lets us into how their love started and grew with flashbacks to the times they were together. This just makes our hearts grow in their love and we feel their pain when they are apart. Their love story is so beautifully written, that I just devoured this book! I didn’t want it to end. The love that Roman has for Harper is pure and forever. These two have been through so much that I feel that they have become my favorite couple ever! (Asher and Jessica are just a smidgen behind them, though!)

June Tucker doesn’t understand people. Numbers, data, and statistics? Those make sense. People? Not so much. In a town of Friday night fighters and moonshine-swilling line dancers, she’s the odd duck. And that suits her just fine. But her sister and friends are pairing off, and the change is unsettling. George “GT” Thompson was at the top of his game — one of the best receivers in football. But a career-ending injury sidelined him for good. Now he’s hoping to find relief in the healing waters of this tiny West Virginia town.

Love June and George
Revisado: 01-11-21
Narrator review:
Natalie Duke and Stephen Dexter are two of my favorite narrators. They bring the characters alive and know how to add infections to the story that makes them real! They totally nailed June and George!
Book Review:
I just LOVE LOVE June Tucker! I love everything about her! Her big brain and how she doesn’t care that she is different, she just goes on and lives her life. I love how the people that love her don’t try to change her and make her fit into their world. They help her navigate it, but allow her to be her.
I love George Thompson! I love how he fell for June Bug for who she was not because she had quirks or was different. I loved how he understood her and tried to fit into her world. Their love story was HOT!. How can it not be? Watching June try to navigate her feelings was adorable. George didn’t rush her, he let her move at her own pace and was there for her. Their relationship blossomed and grew with tenderness and love. I just HEART this book soo much!
Claire and Lucy truly created characters that just just can’t help but love and cherish.

Historia
All those years of adolescent fantasies and this was how Bowie Bodine first touched my boobs. And he apologized. Real life was stupid and unfair. Small town deputy Cassidy Tucker’s dating life is a train wreck on repeat. All she ever wanted was a solid partner. A man to share pajamas with. Cassidy’s officially giving up on love and adopting cats. Good thing the cold case disappearance of Callie Kendall is heating up to keep her distracted. Except the investigation is testing her friendship with all the Bodines - Bowie in particular.

Revisado: 01-06-21
Narrator review:
Natalie Duke and Stephen Dexter are two of my favorite narrators. They bring the characters alive and know how to add infections to the story that makes them real!
Book Review:
Cassidy Tucker has loved Bowie Bodine forever! When she tries to move on he moves right next door! As the mystery of Callie’s disappearance heats up and Cass’s job is in jeopardy, Bowie finally tells Cass that he’s loved her forever and wants to date.
Oh, can this series get any better? Why, yes it can! Each book brings us closer to finding out what happened to Callie, but it also brings us deeper into the lives of everyone in Bootleg Springs. Lucy Score knows how to bring humor, love, heat, intrigue to her stories. You just can’t put them down after you start reading! The characters are real, the stories are intriguing, and you truly feel like you’re reading about your friends!

WOW! This series keeps getting better and better!
Revisado: 12-12-20
Narration review:
Jeffrey Kafer and Heather Costa have done another fabulous job making the characters come to life. Jeffrey’s narration brings out Chris’ Boston charm and wit! I loved it! They keep getting better and better with each book of the series.
Book review:
Chris Hunter is the easy go lucky member of Echo Team. But he is really hiding many layers of hurt that he covers with humor. Rory McAdams is also hiding, she’s hiding what she really does from everyone and it might get her killed.
Their story has pirates, exotic animals, smugglers, and treasure hunters. It is filled with action, suspense and love. I was sucked into their story from the very first page. What l love about the way Brittney Sahin writes is that you don’t just get the main character stories, but all the secondary characters stories as well. The way the series is intertwined it is truly just 1 very long story broken up into 10 different books. Yes, each book is mainly about 1 couple, but you continue to get glimpses into the other characters' lives and back stories. And that is what makes the Stealth Ops books so incredible!
Chris and Rory’s book do not disappoint! I just couldn’t stop reading, and I can’t wait to start reading it again! I loved how this story also featured Harper and Roman and we learn more about them throughout the story. I enjoyed that we had so many crossovers in which we got to see Sebastian and the League. I loved learning how small the world is that Brittney created and that they truly are all tied together.
I am soo looking forward to Roman and Harpers story and all the new series that will spin off the Stealth Ops series.

Historia
The Asher Bailey who comes home to his quirky small town isn’t the same man who put a ring on Grace’s finger. He’s bigger, harder, haunted. Forced to give up Grace and everything else that was good in his life for a prison sentence he barely survived. Now that he’s home, he finds himself aggressively welcomed by his brothers and gleefully gossiped about by his neighbors. He’d counted on both. But he never expected to see Grace still wearing his ring. Grace’s fairy tale didn’t end. It was interrupted.

Grace and Asher story comes to life!
Revisado: 11-15-20
Narrator Review:
Aaron Shedlock and Samantha Cooke really brought Asher and Grace's story to life!
Book Review:
We finally get the happy ever after for Grace and Asher, but it comes with a few bumps in the road.
It starts with Asher in jail and we get a glimpse at what life is like for him there. (And it is not pretty.) He cuts himself off from everyone in his life, except his Grams. He doesn’t write to anyone and he doesn’t allow anyone to visit him there.
When Asher is released 1 year early, he continues to separate himself from Grace. She waited over 7 years for her love to come back to her. She knew he would be different, but so was she. The way they worked to come back to each other was beautifully written. I loved that Claire Kingsley added the letters that Grace sent to Asher while he was in jail. It gave us a glimpse into Grace’s life while he was gone.
I just fell in love with Asher, Grace and the rest of his brothers. This was a very well written story of how love can survive through heartache. I can’t wait for the rest of the series!

Love Harper and Luke!
Revisado: 10-26-20
Narrator review:
Melissa Moran brought humor and depth to an awesome story!
Book review:
Where do I start? This is the very first book I read by Lucy Score. I didn’t know then that my love affair with Lucy would make me start stalking and reading EVERYTHING she had ever written. Ok, at the time she was just starting out and every time I saw a new book she wrote I immediately read it.
From the very first paragraph I was drawn into a world of characters that I just never wanted to leave. Harper drew me in right from the start. The way she looked at the world with hope and love even though she grew up only knowing pain, was just soo real! Luke..oh what can I say about Luke. I felt his pain of loss and understood why he was who he was, but I really wanted to kick his butt! Oh, but I did fall for him. He was a broken man who couldn’t understand how Harper always saw the sun rise after a dark night.
There is just soo much to love about this book! I just love every bit of it! It is my go to book when I need a pick me up! I confess to reading it about 2-3 times a year since it came out!

Linc finally get's his HEA
Revisado: 10-17-20
Narrator Review:
Natalie Duke does a good job bringing the characters to life.
Book Review:
Back to Benevolence we go! I have been waiting for Lincoln Reed to finally get his HEA, and did he ever!
Linc (Chief Sexy Pants) and Mack (Dr. Mc Dreamy) meet at an accident scene. Fire Chief Linc is a ladies man. He will never settle down with one lady. Mackenzie is a flight trauma surgeon trying to slow down and not get burned out. She comes to Benevolence to just try to have a change of pace. Bring on the STEAM! When these two meet, there is no fire hose big enough to stop the flames from burning these two up!
Oh how Mack tries to not fall under Linc’s sexy spell. These two neighbors and friends try hard to resist each other. But they cannot resist the pull and I loved reading how they fell in love with each other.
Throw in crazy family, friends and neighbors and you have a great small town that helps get these two together. We met back up with Luke, Harper, Gloria and Aldo again and I loved hearing how their family grew! I cried, laughed, and cheered while I devoured this book.
Lucy, you sure know how to write lovable alpha-men and strong kicka$$ women! You make it hard to read someone elses books! Pretend You’re Mine was my first ever Lucy book, I have read it more than 20 times! I know I will read Protecting What’s Mine just as many times! How can you keep getting better at creating whole worlds I want to live in with well written characters that I feel like I personally know? All I can say is… PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING!

Revisado: 10-12-20
Narrator Review:
Stephen Dexter and Natalie Duke sure enhanced the listening experience of a great series! They really made the story fuller if at all possible! I can listen to them read this story every day!
Book Review:
Well Lucy has done it again! Everything she writes is pure gold!
Small Virginia town set in fictional Bootleg Springs, is filled with colorful neighbors and fun times. Makes me want to live there!
Scarlett Bodine is tasked to help Devlin McCallister, a disgraced politician, find his true self after his wife cheats on him, by his grandmother. With her spark and love of life, she helps heal his broken soul and helps him find his true calling in life. Scarlett shows Devlin how to be more spontaneous. And Devlin shows her how to be in a relationship. He also helps her heal after her father passes away.
The town is filled with eccentric people that keep the laughter coming. Throughout the story of Scarlett and Devlin, there is a mystery that you are learning about with Devlin. Callie went missing 12 years ago and the whole town is trying to figure out the mystery of what happened to her. We also meet Scarlett's 3 brothers and half-brother. We watch how they grow as a family and finally help Scarlett with the loss of her father.
This is the start of the Bootleg Spring Series written with Claire Kingsley. Each book is about one of Scarletts brothers and more of the mystery of "What happened to Callie?" is revealed.
Lucy Score sure knows how to put into words all the feels, that we need, to make a great story. You feel like you are there and know these characters, like they are our friends. She is amazing in fleshing out the characters and making us vested in knowing what happens to each and every one of them. I can't wait for the rest of the series to come out!
