I am not even finished with the book and I am already writing a review. Ive always said the narrator has the capacity of making a good book bad or a bad book good. Not to say this book is bad at all. It is far from it. Loved book 1! Loving book 2 and I can’t wait to go
To book 3. The story is captivating. Relatable at least for me. The narrator is fantastic. She gives every single character their own voice and life. I laugh. I aww. I get happy and upset at the characters as the story line develops. I could not imagine any other narrator for this series. Totally awesome!!!

These books are really good but narration can take a book from great to mediocre in a heartbeat. The first 2 books were excellent. Narration very distinctive and feelings were conveyed pretty well but with book 3 I had a hard time following. There was no distinction between the characters voices and it just did not match how the characters were feeling, thinking. Not the best narration at all! Disappointed 😞

I listened to “The Night Off” and I was totally blown by the book. I downloaded Battle Scars because I thought I would get the same fix. I was utterly disappointed. I love the story line but what killed it for me was the narrator. There were no emotions. The characters all sounded the same. There were no feelings behind the narrations. Everything sounded platonic. I had a hard time listening to her. I would so ask Alexandria Wilde the narrator for The Night Off to narrate this book and do it ALL OVER AGAIN.
