Historia
For the first time ever, the full story of the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral - not only what really happened but why, and how mythology has led us to completely misinterpret the real history of the frontier. Combining cinematic storytelling with prodigious research, The Last Gunfight upends conventional wisdom about what the West was really like, who the Earps and Doc Holliday really were, and what actually happened in Tombstone on that cold day in October 1881.

Great Listen
Revisado: 11-19-16
I live in Tucson Az and have gone to Tombstone countless times. To hear all of the facts of the story and the people involved is awesome. Oddly enough for the most part the 90s movie "Tombstone" was for the most part very accurate besides minor details. Something new that is dove into more is that the Earps were not squeaky clean law men, nor bad guys but they were bullies whom stepped on the toes of others to try to obtain fame and fortune. This is a good listen that also shares historical data from Tucson, Yuma, and Prescott. I honestly cant wait until I have a free weekend to drive back down to Tombstone and take a step back in time.

Join the Army and See the Universe. That is the motto of The Third Space War, also known as The First Interstellar War, but most commonly as The Bug War. In one of Robert Heinlein's most controversial best sellers, a recruit of the future goes through the toughest boot camp in the universe - and into battle with the Terrain Mobile Infantry against mankind's most alarming enemy.

Dont waste your time
Revisado: 11-05-16
I loved the movie and decided to try the original. Well if you want to listen to a terrible monotone narrator who pauses at odd times, and hours of preachy military dribble about rank then by all means get this book. The bug wars are barely a factor, the characters are barely fleshed out and are one dimensional. I seriously struggled to get through this boring garbage. I was hoping for so much more but it seems the movie grabbed the best parts of this book and vastly expanded them. Final grade - D

Great
Revisado: 09-14-16
Great story, and a good continuation of the series. Dragon and Zap are the main story and I love their bromance. The villain is one of my favorites and the battles are like a high budget blockbuster action film. These stories always have heart at thei core and give you the best of superheros and zombies.

Historia
Derek Hawthorne was born to be an agent of the Red Room. Literally. Raised in a conspiracy which has protected the world from the supernatural for centuries, he's never been anything other than a servant of their agenda. Times are changing, though, and it may not be long before their existence is exposed.

Was hoping for more
Revisado: 08-10-16
I love C.T Phipps writing for the most part and I love the superhero series he writes. Im not sure If I am just tired of Kafer reading everything that I purchase or characters being similar but he never makes them any different. Its always this weird smug smartass tone that he never changes. Which when you first hear is kinda cool depending on the character starts to wear on you over time. I hope narratives can give him a break from time to time. As for the story, its not bad but its basically R.I.P.D/Hellboy/Archer with the same characters in his superhero book series but with different names. I see potential in this universe but C.T needs to branch out from the same thing that he is already pretty much doing in his other series. Smartass antihero again, ex wife or ex girlfriend again, female sidekick again, big bruiser character again, supernatural villain again. It's worth a listen don't get me wrong but in my opinion not his best work but I would buy the second book to see if he can make positive changes because it has potential. C+

Funny but short
Revisado: 06-11-16
The book is pretty funny and entertaining the characters are entertaining but it is very short and the end shows the authors political views in high form. Adam Baldwin does a great job of voices and narration. iIf the rest of this authors books are this entertaining I will have to check them out.

Good for a free token
Revisado: 04-30-15
I enjoyed this book for the most part. My only complaints are that it seems to drag at some point and sometimes the dialogue can be quite painful. Having swears or curses constantly changed to "Oh sparks!" or "Oh calamity" is really annoying and sounds ridiculous. If its that big of a deal just cut it out completely. Hearing "Sparks!" takes you out of the intesity of moments. Other than that its a pretty straightforward story. Not alot of twists you won't see coming, or maybr I read to many comics or watch to much TV. Anyways Its a good time killer and the reader does good acting for the most part. Pick it up for a free token, its worth checking into.

worst in the series
Revisado: 04-12-15
I have loved all books in the series except this one. Everything you loved in the series, thr superheros, the zombies, the excitement, the great battles are not in this book. And the ending "suprise" if you can call it was lazy and unimaginative. In fact if you buy this book read thr first chapter and then read the last 2. I just saved you hours of boring, frustrating droning, and a pace as slow as a snail. Not to mention everytime something actually peaks your interest we have to do the "THEN" chapters which are cringe inducing. I cant tell you what a fan of this series I am, but this book stinks. Save your money, save your free credit. Lets hope if more are made they are better than this fart box.

Ive loved all Shatners trek books and I love the action and adventures he takes Kirk on, teaming up with TNG characters alot. With that being said this book is the most boring of all his Trek narratives. Not saying its bad but can't hold a candle to his mirror universe trilogy I loved. Trek fans will enjoy reguardless as I did but dont expect a heart racing story like some of his others.
