Bruised to healed
Revisado: 10-31-24
A nice storyline with well-developed characters, a little predictable, but a great ending still, I enjoyed, listening to this old book in less than two days!

Historia
In 1951, a mysterious old woman confronts Pilar Aguirre in the small border town of La Cienega, Texas. The old woman is sure Pilar stole her husband and, in a heated outburst, lays a curse on Pilar and her family. It was over to soon

This was a great story. It took a while for the two storylines to come together, but when they did, I never wanted the story to end. This was a great selection.

Unexpected juiciness!
Revisado: 11-27-21
I have found this through the pandemic. What drew me to subscribe is the fact that I was hearing Coach Walker in my head long after the podcast ended.
It was wonderful to be able to connect with another person at the right moment during this crazy time of 2020 pandemic. It was an unexpected guide on this difficult journey called life!
Thanks coach Walker I’m looking forward to our next episode! …thanks for the poetry also… ABSOLUTE JUICINESS!
