Historia
Does your home sometimes feel like just a place to eat, sleep, and change clothes on the way to the next activity? Do you long for "home" to mean more than a place where you stash your stuff? Wouldn't you love it to become a haven of warmth, rest, and joy...the one place where you and your family can't wait to be? There is good news waiting for you in The Lifegiving Home. Every day of your family's life can be as special and important to you as it already is to God.

Excellent, though wordy
Revisado: 02-03-23
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the instruction within. I did find the chapters to be quite wordy and a bit too lengthy in my humble opinion. However, this should be expected from people who describe themselves as “lovers of words” I will listen and read again in-spite of this. The instruction is comforting and inspiring. I was not a huge fan of the reader, her voice was almost too “comfortable” and to me, at some points, felt disingenuous.

Historia
Drawing on their own cross cultural experience in global mission, O'Brien and Richards show how better self-awareness and understanding of cultural differences in language, time, and social mores allow us to see the Bible in fresh and unexpected ways. Getting beyond our own cultural assumptions is increasingly important for being Christians in our interconnected and globalized world. Learn to read Scripture as a member of the global body of Christ.

Truly a must read for western believers. Brandon and Randy do a wonderful job of giving personal examples of errors and explain their points in clear and concise ways.

What a wonderful story, incredible writing. A geography lesson that has made us want to track Paddles movement on our own.
