Historia
Blindsided by her mother’s sudden death and wrecked by a recent love affair, Casey Peabody has arrived in Massachusetts in the summer of 1997 without a plan. Her mail consists of wedding invitations and final notices from debt collectors. A former child golf prodigy, she now waits tables in Harvard Square and rents a tiny, moldy room at the side of a garage where she works on the novel she has been writing for six years. At 31, Casey is still clutching onto something nearly all her old friends have let go of: the determination to live a creative life.

Inspiration
Revisado: 06-13-19
I absolutely loved the story and narration. My husband and I have spent several summers doing long distance walking in England. The paths are so great there. This made me think how I want to go back. The only thing I did not like was the portrayal of the couple being old. We were their age when we walked and I never felt old! The walks make you feel young (when done). I wonder if people thought we were old. Well if I go back I will be old. This book gives me inspiration to make the next chapter of life outstanding. I hope Raynor writes more!

But one Easter weekend a tragedy strikes the Bird family that is so devastating it tears them apart. Many years later something will call them home, back to the house they grew up in - and to what really happened that Easter weekend all those years ago.

Historia
Luisa "Lu" Brant is the newly elected - and first female - state's attorney of Howard County, Maryland, a job in which her widower father famously served. Fiercely intelligent and ambitious, she sees an opportunity to make her name by trying a mentally disturbed drifter accused of beating a woman to death in her home. It's not the kind of case that makes headlines, but peaceful Howard County doesn't see many homicides.

Great ending to trilogy
Revisado: 10-07-16
This series was tremendous. I have tried to read other Stephen King books but have had difficulty getting through them. This serious was realistic enough to make it very terrifying. However, the books weren't so terrifying that I couldn't sleep at night. I wish author would write more books like this.
