Historia
Winner of the 2017 Hugo Award for Best Novel. Sequel to the multi-award nominated The Fifth Season. The season of endings grows darker, as civilisation fades into the long cold night. Essun has found shelter, but not her missing daughter. Instead there is Alabaster Tenring, destroyer of the world, with a request only Essun can grant. The Broken Earth trilogy begins with The Fifth Season, continues in The Obelisk Gate and concludes with The Stone Sky.

The second book is as good as the first!
Revisado: 01-26-19
The story keeps evolving and expanding without losing focus. A rare trilogy where the second book is at least as good as the first.

Historia
In this “deftly and originally executed” (Booklist) New York Times best-selling novel, Vaelin Al Sorna must help his Queen reclaim her Realm. Only his enemy has a dangerous new collaborator, one with powers darker than Vaelin has ever encountered...“The Ally is there, but only ever as a shadow, unexplained catastrophe or murder committed at the behest of a dark vengeful spirit. Sorting truth from myth is often a fruitless task". After fighting back from the brink of death, Queen Lyrna is determined to repel the invading Volarian army.

This book just isn't as well written as the first
Revisado: 12-06-18
This book just takes you through the motions of what's required to finish the storylines. There's no surprises, no revelations to the mysteries, no more great deeds. Where there was opportunity for such things the story was rushed or muddled by the developing story around it.

Historia
According to mythology, mankind used to live in 'The Tranquiline Halls': heaven. But then the Voidbringers assaulted and captured heaven, casting out God and men. Men took root on Roshar, the world of storms, but the Voidbringers followed. The Almighty gave men powerful suits of armor and mystical weapons, the Shardblades. Led by 10 angelic Heralds and 10 orders of knights known as Radiants, mankind finally won (or so the legends say).

Listen if you have a lot of patience
Revisado: 05-19-18
The narrators both have an annoying way of speaking, but after a few hours you sort of get used to it, the man's impersonation of women in particular is horrible, maybe he could ask Podehl for some hints.
The story builds slow and the reverse chronological order of the main characters backstory is irritating, but the world is intriguing and the main plot engrossing.
