Met the Author at Barns and Noble

Met the author today by happenstance at Barns and Nobel in Northern California. It was so cool to meet him and be introduced to the series. I’ve never been one to have the stamina to sit and read a paper copy. When I asked if he was on audible he exclaimed he was and that he narrates his own books. I love when authors narrate. Started listening today and after the first few hours of listening I’m hooked. Can’t wait to listen to the whole series!

Underrated book that deserves praise

This is an incredible listen. While it can be predictable and jumps around a lot at the start, it takes you on a wild adventure with the time old “good vs bad” using plot lines that keep the listener engaged. I loved listening to this. The predictability makes you feel safe during uncertain real world times. But the drama, the ups and downs, kept my heart pumping. I cheered for the characters and wept. I laughed and fell a little in love with the selflessness of Iggy.
This book hits all the marks of a good listen and I cannot wait for book 2!

The story has too many problem and solution segments. The ending was drawn out. I actually liked the Netflix movie better.
