Historia
In this “vital, necessary, and beautiful book” (Michael Eric Dyson), antiracist educator Robin DiAngelo deftly illuminates the phenomenon of white fragility and “allows us to understand racism as a practice not restricted to 'bad people'" (Claudia Rankine). Referring to the defensive moves white people make when challenged racially, white fragility is characterized by emotions such as anger, fear, and guilt and by behaviors including argumentation and silence. These behaviors, in turn, function to reinstate white racial equilibrium and prevent meaningful cross-racial dialogue.

Historia
Mark Sternum, whom listeners first met in Perfect Agreement, is a veteran teacher. Twenty years older, separated for six months from his lover, and desperate to duck the overtures of double-dealing deans above him and disgruntled adjunct faculty below him, Mark has one ambition every day he is on campus - to close the classroom door and leave the world behind. His escape, however, is complicated by his contentious, complicated wrestling match of a relationship with the Professor, the tenured faculty member with whom Mark has co-taught this creative-writing workshop for ten years.

Brilliant beyond articulation - Mind captured with every word
Revisado: 01-21-19
The writer’s (Michael :)) work here is masterful and beautiful capturing my attention with every sentence. The story has left me with an effervescent level of curiosity to know what the lives of every character is like now. His intelligent sharp humor will have you laughing well into the next chapter and gasping in awe of how he said what he said with so few words. You’ll want to have this one on speed dial for a repeat listen, I’ll certainly be coming back.

This is the only money guide you'll ever need. That's a bold claim, given there are already thousands of finance books on the shelves. So what makes this one different? You'll get a step-by-step formula: open this account, then do this; call this person, and say this; invest money here and not there. All with a glass of wine in your hand.

Brilliant and applicable to everyone (even outside Aus)
Revisado: 04-24-18
This is simplest and most clear, easy to follow financial book I’ve read. The advice is also genuine and you can really feel Scott’s passion. My mom recommend it to me and I’m a 32 year old Aussie living in the US and all of the core advice I find applicable to my life here. Just doing a little of my own research for look for similar options to the Aus recommendations in the book. Thanks for your help Scott.
