Another adventure for the solo healer gobbled up. The way his personality stat is lowered can be heard in the audio its that good. The crunchy numbers are still flowing while the hijinks continue. I do kind of feel sorry for the MC with the way the system is constantly at odds with him.

I have been waiting for this adventure to continue. The glitch continues to wreak havoc on the powers that be in this strange world. This OP MC still doesn't trust many of the other humans in this death trap of a trial. It was nice to see someone survive meeting him but its never to late for them to be axed in the next book. Thaden drives the advancement of the non contenders in the creation of high level gear. The anchor dungeon trap quest line continues and the glitches fall like rain. I cant wait for the next one!

Holy snikeys dude your time growing up brought up some deeply buried memories of my own childhood. I may have had to cut some onions to hide waterworks. Your awesome and you and your brother make me laugh so you win!

Love the second book!

I just want to keep calling the main character glitch. the story continues on exploring a world I would not wish to be isekai'd to. Expect action and a fast paced story but remember it is on the edge of Grimdark. This contest/race to prove humanity doesn't suck continues and the critters just keep coming. Very crunchy spells and stats fly through a bent leveling exploit as the MC crushes the dungeons set before him. I cant wait for the next one.

Another excellent book by the good Doc.

This is the intro novel for a series showing what happens on earth after book 7 of The Land. The beam of chaos energy went flying off into space now we know where it went. Amazing narration for this crunchy new series in the Aleron Kong Universe. The story was a fantastic joyride of emotion and left me hungry for the next book. Similiar to God's Eye there is a different layout to the magic system than you will find in The Land. This book has more of a blend of cultivation and leveling but i found it easy to follow along. PLPM!

Still loving the story and the narration

Sal really kicks it up a notch in book 2. More powers and people are introduced as he confronts his fears and probably earns a few new ones. I can tell you right now if I had his abilities I do not think I would be the good guy he is. The crunchy factor in this book ratchets up a notch as the tech and ability combos Sal learned in book 1 are put to the test. New friends and powers are put into play with a wee bit of tension. I had to go look if I could buy the next one in print just to keep going.

I loved the way the MC survives by luck and glitch in a world with no acceptable mistakes. This is a very crunchy LitRPG with world building that goes into specifics of spells abilities and classes. I always started my games with a healer or stealth build so this really hit the spot can't wait for the next food for my earholes.

I want the rest of the story! I love how this book starts off with a recap and then continues to deliver intrigue and political machinations of all the people against the MC for so many reasons. The unique magic system is shaping up to be a fun one I feel like Pax is going to be creating epic gear. The cadre of friends are still there for him as he navigates the pitfalls and troubles of being a rebel with illegal magic. The sidekick pet is still cute but he gets some competition along that avenue. I think the part I like the most is the older brother snippets I have a feeling pax is going to outgrow his brother in power before they meet again.

Good Stuff!

I was hooked after the first book. It is gritty, dark, and disturbing. Some of the worst elements of humanity are high lighted during this invasion apocalypse presented for your earholes. Here at book 3 I find myself loving this bromance of cannibals tossed into an action packed thrill ride. I am not saying I would choose this book to portal into because I would die so fast and taste horrible.
