I could've kept listening for many more hours

How thrilling and special to hear Barbra tell her story in her own words, in her own voice. Her narration was so natural as if she were talking directly to me.
I didn't start out being a fan, but I was intrigued. Now I feel tremendous admiration, respect and love for her. She truly is a national treasure and her candor is a gift for us all. This is a masterpiece of an autobiography.

Thank you for writing this Barbra and thank you for narrating it.

Great entertaining and relaxing escape with just enough drama and no violence. Interesting characters and great imagery of the Caribbean life. Narration is outstanding. This is the second book of the three book series that I have listened to and I am going to purchase the third one right now.

A Book That Finally Held My Attention

For someone with ADHD insomnia, grieving the recent of a beloved parent, this book was a delightful elixir. It kept me entertained regardless of the hour.

Furthermore, the ending was perfect.

Now the challenge of finding another book to take me away.

Grateful for this Moving Book

Deeply personal and touching account of Prince Harry's inner life as well as his experiences, beautifully narrated by him.

Everything makes much more sense now. Of course Harry wasn't brainwashed by Meg into leaving his country and family. The brainwashing and control is what he broke free from.

This is a compelling listen about personal and spiritual development, inner strength, family roles, and love. If Harry's desire was to inspire, he hit the mark.

Very deep, raw, eloquent, beautiful

This book is the author's journey in her own words, exploring life and death fueled by her own intimate experiences of loss. Sensitive, moving, open-minded with a healthy does of skepticism, and above all, tenacity, her experiences guide her to her understanding and knowingness of all-that-is.; including, why we are "here" and the "hereafter'.

The author's realization and the truth about our existence is beautifully captured in the Epilogue. It will help you make more sense of things than a dozen books written by titled "holymen" or so-called experts.

Well done.

Narration was tender and gentle, with a steady cadence that will help you soldier on through the pain to a greater awareness into the light. Quite a remarkable work.

I never knew much about Gianni Russo but h book not only described his life but also America and the World over a span of years.

A Tragic Story

Very insightful history of the Madoff family and the multiple and far-reaching ripples of destruction caused by Bernie Madoff.
This is Stephanie’s (the wife of late Mark Madoff, Bernie’s son) experience from her perspective in her own voice. While some reviewers complain that her voice is nasally, her narration gives it greater intimacy, including when she mimics Ruth Madoff’s voice and demeanor.

Time and again, we hear stories of people being shocked when someone takes his own life. More research and especially public education is needed to help both the people with this pernicious and cloaked disease and family members, in order to reduce the outcomes of suicide.

What is a shame is that no one even knew that Mark worked hard for over 20 years to create his own successful business, completely separate from his father’s dealings. No one, except perhaps Ruth, had any idea what the stoic and reserved patriarch was doing. Once it was revealed to Mark, he immediately went to the authorities.

As a result, the many complex feelings and relentless heart-wrenching familial, professional, and financial traumas and loss that even extended to his young children’s and wife’s lives caused his major depressive disorder. Such traumas change the brain.

Lastly, I noted some reviewers being resentful of the success that Mark and Stephanie had before the Event. I believe it is important to lay the blame and anger where it belongs: solely on Bernie Madoff.
