Funny, adventurous, & full of innuendos. I definitely would not recommend this to the young adult/youth crowd. There is a warning in the blurb about cussing and the innuendos so definitely knew that when I went into this book.
I did enjoy the storyline and the adventure that you go on honestly, I think if you took out the cussing and maybe simmer down some of the innuendos, it would’ve been probably a better book for me. But it was still a good book. I feel like a good wizard destiny, this is the book for you.

Slightly Confused

This was … I’m not sure. The way the book is written could be better. I felt very distracted by the MC POV. I like that she is telling the story. But too often it’s broken up with whatever she is literally doing. This for me kept breaking up the story line & I had a hard time regrouping back to it. The main thing I got from this was that when the creator invented the train all the animals would ride the train because it was a great & wondrous thing & then forget something about their life & they would never get off the train. Maybe it’s a metaphor… but if I’m having to guess at it, it could have been written clearer. All in all not bad but also rememberable.

Loving the character development

As Linden continues to uncover her family’s history & how it leads into the current ongoing war. Plus she is basically now the Queen of the Fae! So as she is making personal discoveries & trying to end the war she has all this new responsibilities. I definitely don’t want to be in her shoes. It definitely had more magic & creatures & life threatening experiences. I enjoyed continuing the series.

Great action

Follow along as Linden discovers her families past that they have never told her; as she learns about her powers & that they are nothing to be ashamed about.
This was fun adventure. I enjoyed riding along with the story. It is definitely more magical & fantasy with some touches of steampunk. You see the most inventions from this subgenre as you get closer to cities where it’s easier to use them.

Super Relatable

This is an amazing book. Super relatable. I love that while this book gives you the tools to help manage & work with your adhd but it also addresses that you need to address your adhd at its core. If you are not able to address your ADHD at its core root causes then it’s gonna be very hard to cope with your ADHD and work with it and make it successful for yourself and this book really helps with that. Even my husband who was listening to it secondhand with me started going “wow I do that.”, “Oh, I do that too.”, “oh this makes so much sense.” Neither of us have been diagnosed with ADHD. I know I have ADHD and my husband is now thinking. Maybe he has a small mild form of it as he found this book relatable as well and I love being able to include my husband‘s thoughts in my reviews because I feel helps give more credence that it’s not just my point of view you’re listening to. The narrator is perfect. Calm, understanding, & comforting voice. Excellent job.

What’s an amazing continuation to the water witch series. This very snobby princess and her brother come in after Solace and Rhees have won back their kingdom to start changing and doing things for the better and making water available for everyone and challenge the foundation of their marriage and when it is found lacking, the world is flipped on its end! Solace and Rhees are faced with some critical decisions. This was an amazing second book just as good as the first I am absolutely going to get the third one.

Water divining is such a rare gift in this country and those who can often make a decent penny off of it, but of course the services are only needed if the current wells run dry and their services are only used. If the the spots where they tell them to dig for wells helps the well actually survive more than a couple years. After dividing for a well for a fellow neighbor, on her way back home, she is kidnapped, and she soon find out that she is kidnapped by the air to the throne of their neighboring kingdom, who is a very forward and very grumpy man. I am quickly finding out that I do enjoy grumpy sunshine books, and this is definitely one of those books the different twists and the turns that they had to take to be able to be successful and defeat the ruling tyrant king.

Brilliant!

This was such a great sweet romance story I fell in love with it immediately the main female character was absolutely relatable with her anxiety and how she’s only Half a Faerie and she has some of the magical quirks of faerie but she can’t seem to control it, and it causes her anxiety and she’s supposed to stay hidden in the human world, and when her anxiety brings out that faerie likeness, it’s really hard to hide. Then this famous songwriter comes into play and he has such a sorted history because he was hurt by many people around him at the time that it happened that finding out his true intentions seems to be hard. I love the writing style. I love the characters. It’s absolutely amazing. I’m so excited to be able to read the next book which deals with this main character’s brother! Toni Cabell is fastly becoming one of my auto by authors!

A Great Christmas Cozy!

A very cute Christmas cozy! Forced proximity, snowed in, & overcoming heartbreak. There is great humor & sweet kisses. This book almost made me, who absolutely loves Halloween, say “let’s skip it & move to Christmas!” lol. This a great quick cozy read. Makes me want beef stew & hot chocolate. I definitely recommend to those who just like hugs & kisses, cozy reads, Christmas reads, young adults. The narrators are perfect for this book. They definitely bring Noel and Cole to life, and I really really enjoyed listening to it.

What a comfort

Im excited to try the methods in this book. I have anxiety & it is one of the contributing factors to my stress level. I also occasionally suffer from caregiver burnout. So managing my stress level is important to me. When I’m not stressed it means I don’t get angry easily when my kids do stupid little things that should not about me. I do love the references in the book. I actually know some of the names from when I had to do projects & research for my medical degree. If you are looking for an aid to help reduce stress give this a try. It’s simple exercises you can do & incorporate into your routine & it’s customizable. She gives you the 28-day template to test & try out the methods mentioned in the book so you can find the ones that work the best for you. The narrator is a kind friendly voice. It helps give you confidence in working on & getting started on this 28-day program. I have done it for 1 week now & I have already noticed a difference. I’m looking forward to continuing.
