Historia
Catch the Jew! recounts the adventures of gonzo journalist Tuvia Tenenbom, who wanders around Israel and the Palestinian Authority for seven months in search of the untold truths in today's Holy Land. With holy chutzpah, Tenenbom boldly goes where no Jew has gone before, at times risking his life as he assumes the identities of Tobi the German and even Abu Ali in order to probe into the many stories in this strange land and poke holes in all of them.

Historia
It is a society that is, officially, a paradise. Superior to the decadent West, Stalin's Soviet Union is a haven for its citizens, providing for all of their needs: education, health care, security. In exchange, all that is required is their hard work, and their loyalty and faith to the Soviet State. But now a murderer is on the loose.

As a former Soviet it was intriguing to retrace.
Revisado: 03-19-16
What made the experience of listening to Child 44 the most enjoyable?
I had great feeling to submerge into the past of my former motherland. Tom Smith did a great job to collect background info of KGB method. He did tryed his best to bring us to the horror of being alive in a dead society.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Freight train arrangements for inmates.
Have you listened to any of Dennis Boutsikaris’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Not yet
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Of course love and betrayal

My favorite Roth made me feel puzzled...
Revisado: 03-30-14
Would you consider the audio edition of Sabbath's Theater to be better than the print version?
I think no doubt about it- I will not be able to endure hard work of reading this in particular...
What was one of the most memorable moments of Sabbath's Theater?
There were quite a constellation but cemetery scene was the masterpiece.
Have you listened to any of David Dukes’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Not yet.
Who was the most memorable character of Sabbath's Theater and why?
I guess author- his fascination with sex in human life sound too pathological from my physician standpoint.
Any additional comments?
I still admire Phillip Roth talent.
