Great resource for Data Center Service Providers!
Revisado: 05-01-23
As a Service Provider to data centers I have tried to learn everything I can from experience, websites, people and podcasts. In this book, Carrie Goetz brings it all together and puts a nice bow on the entire data center industry. While it’s designed for people looking for a career in data centers, I can assure you this is well worth the listen for industry professionals. I listened while referencing the illustrations in the paperback book. Highly recommended!

Essentialism is more than a time-management strategy or a productivity technique. It is a systematic discipline for discerning what is absolutely essential, then eliminating everything that is not, so we can make the highest possible contribution toward the things that really matter.

This book is exactly what I needed!
Revisado: 01-10-22
In a world of distractions and technology overload, Essentialism provides the antidote to the disintegration of “quality of life”. Less really is more. I love the principles of this philosophy and I plan to implement the techniques the author brought forth. Plain and simple. My life is going to be more satisfying in 2022…and beyond. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a better quality of life.

Buyers today have knowledge at their fingertips and most of their information gathering will routinely happen before you even walk through the door or get them on the phone. Armed with information, their guard is up - and they are skeptical. Today, anyone buying anything relies on reviews and feedback shared by strangers and often trust those anonymously posted experiences more than the claims made by the providers of the products or services themselves. They expect to see the full picture and find out all of the pros and cons before making any purchase.

Great book for Sales Leaders!
Revisado: 05-27-20
I have been in sales and sales management for 25 years and have consumed volumes of sales training, books, courses, podcasts, etc. The Transparency Sale was exactly what I needed in my career to refresh and update my skills. I especially appreciated the Results formula he offers in the book, as I am writing my company’s sales strategy. It was as if the teacher/mentor appeared at just the right time. This should be required reading for high performing sales teams. Both Sales Professionals and Sales Leaders will have a leg up over the competition after reading this book. Highly recommended.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Soulful story that will captivate your attention!
Revisado: 05-24-20
Great story and a thoughtful examination of one girl’s adventures and heartbreak as an outlier of a North Carolina community. I cried both from sadness and joy, immersed in this story. However, this is more than just ‘a story about a girl’. This is literary art. Where the Crawdads Sing exposes the weaknesses and great strength of humanity, and explores the depths of inequality around gender, social class and race. Highly recommended.

The Inside Track on Stevie Nicks- Loved it!
Revisado: 05-18-20
I am a Stevie Nicks fan (since the 7th grade, circa 1982), so I was hanging on every word, and every story in this narration. Rob Sheffield takes us on a tour of Stevie Nick’s life and career as a music legend. I was struck by Stevie’s lack of confidence in “belonging” in the band because she was brought in on the coat tails of her boyfriend at the time (listen to find out who it was). She was more talented in my opinion as a songwriter, singer and overall artist than the others. Without spoiling any details, one of her closest allies and a friend in the industry encouraged her to build herself back up after a hiatus of not writing or performing. Because he did that, we have the same Stevie Nicks we always had. Strong, courageous and musically powerful. She has more energy for her next chapter in life and shows no signs of slowing day. For that I am grateful to see what she does next. Go Stevie!

Historia
Social scientist Brené Brown has ignited a global conversation on courage, vulnerability, shame, and worthiness. Her pioneering work uncovered a profound truth: Vulnerability—the willingness to show up and be seen with no guarantee of outcome—is the only path to more love, belonging, creativity, and joy. But living a brave life is not always easy: We are, inevitably, going to stumble and fall.
