I really enjoyed this book

When I first started this book I was just a little put off by the initial contrived prologue that set the characters up for the story, but once I got into it I really enjoyed how the characters were developed, and the banter, conversations, and responses that were all fun and engaging.
I always enjoy JAFF stories where Elizabeth and Jane are monied, and where Miss Bingley gets her comeuppance...which she most certainly does in this book.
A little surprised to see the Mr. Bingley character not be on the level, and love that the Bennett/Hamilton family, in general, are more knowledgeable, mature and less 'silly'.
Would definitely recommend!

I really hope there are more additions to the Smallhope and PennyRoyal stories because this was wonderful and I really enjoyed it. In fact, I took as long as I could to read this just so it wouldn't end.
Zara Ramm is so talented and always wonderful
The story was interesting, pulled in a few bits and pieces of a St. Mary's and Time Police books and answered some questions. It was funny, and action packed and even a bit romantic. Definitely loved it!!

Another winner, good story and great narration!

Sir Kipling is my favorite character in this series, especially as given life by Amy McFadden. The voice/accent she uses for this lovely feline character is perfect, and he is written in perfect feline form (I know, I have had feline fur babies my whole life) :-) I outright laughed multiple times, and the story still has a good mix of action, adventure and a little drama thrown in. Thanks for the great narration and another one of Sir Kipling's adventures from his point of view.

Of course I really love the series...but now I have read all that is available and will be looking forward to more!

Admittedly had a short period of time where I had a little trouble following the parallel time lines...then all good. Great story, great narration, and thank you for the equally great ending! Can't wait for the next!

Couldn't put it down... Great read & narration!

I enjoyed the original books (Ben Travers et al), and was really happy to find these follow up stories. All 3 books were included and I loved them all. I was happy to find that each of the stories were unique and not just the same story re-written with a slight twist. These are well written syfy genre mysteries, and not just another lot of poorly written cliche detective stories. I fully enjoyed them and read all three in just a few days. The narrator was really good! He did all the different voices and if the character was eating and talking it the story, you could hear that in the narration. Looking forward to the next installment! Thanks!

Another great visit with the St. Mary's crew!

Another great installment of the Chronicles of St Mary's brought so eloquently to life by Zara Ramm's wonderful performance!

I have read all of Jodi Taylor's St Mary's series (and the related Time Police series) and the characters are so well written that they all feel like good friends. I enjoy these stories so much, and A Catalogue of Catastrophe is another winner. It made me laugh, kept me on the edge of my seat with it's twists and turns, and warmed my heart. Great story, and very interesting historical notes/references.

I hate to say it yet again....but when will the next installment be?? :-)

Really enjoyed this story

I wasn't sure what to expect was really loved the story and the narration. Really unique plot line rather than just another twist on the usual time travel romance tale...which is why I really liked it. It moved right along and didn't drag. Narrator did a great job as well. Would definitely recommend!

Good story and performance...waiting for the next!

The story was really good, and I just love the characters. I see that this is 'book 1' so I am assuming another one is coming which I am glad to hear! Imaginative without being ridiculous, it's adventurous and the story moves along...no dull points in this one. Love the snark between the characters... laughed out loud more than once. I wasn't sure at first if I was going to like the reader, but I really did. He helped give life to the characters and did a great job.

A unique twist on Elizabeth and Darcy's story...and I loved it!
As others have noted, the development of the other characters is well done, and I found the story line surprising....but it just continued to get better as the story went along. I don't want to give it away, but definitely worth the money and the listen. Stevie Zimmerman is a good reader, and I am sure I will listen again!

Really enjoyed this, and more than once!

Good story, well read, but most of all sooo nice to see all of the Bennet girls finally receive the elevation in rank and situation and all that goes with it....including putting Miss Bingley in her place. The addition of Duchess Agatha as a mentor is really nice as well. There were still contentious moments, but fewer barriers and a lovely romance.
Have listened to it several times and it always brings a smile to my face.
