I just found this podcast and good lord…it’s got to be witchcraft. The good kind, obviously. I have insomnia and dropping off is a struggle for me. But I’m also sort of addicted to some kind of audio when I’m trying to fall asleep or the silence is too loud, IYKWIM. Well, first episode in, it’s a narrative, it’s history, cool, I’m listening, nice low soothing voice, and —- bam. Next thing I knew it was the next morning. Both thumbs and my big toes up.

One of the best narrators I’ve heard. She fully portrayed every character with a unique voice, personality, and timbre, and brought the story vividly to life!

Juliet Stevenson is one of the best narrators around. Her formidable acting talents make the many characters and accents fluid and convincing; they come wholly to life. She more than does justice to one of my favorite novels!
