Historia
In this, the first volume of renowned author and historian Peter G. Tsouras’s alternative history trilogy, Great Britain’s support for the Confederacy takes it to the brink of war with the Union. The escape of a British-built Confederate ironclad finally ignites the heap of combustible animosities and national interests. When the US Navy seizes it in British waters, the ensuing battle spirals into all-out war. Napoleon III eagerly joins the British and declares war on the United States.

In the right readers hands
Revisado: 12-21-18
In the right readers hands this could be an outstanding story. But and this is a very big butt, I don’t know where they found this guy. It was very difficult to follow along as his monotone voice never changed. It was hard to know who was talking and when someone else started. Great story terrible reader.

Historia
“I have sensed a disturbance in the Force.” Ominous words under any circumstances, but all the more so when uttered by Emperor Palpatine. On Batuu, at the edges of the Unknown Regions, a threat to the Empire is taking root - its existence little more than a glimmer, its consequences as yet unknowable. But it is troubling enough to the Imperial leader to warrant investigation by his most powerful agents: ruthless enforcer Lord Darth Vader and brilliant strategist Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Historia
Return once more to a galaxy far, far away with this sublime retelling of George Lucas's epic Star Wars in the style of the immortal Bard of Avon. The saga of a wise (Jedi) knight and an evil (Sith) lord, of a beautiful princess held captive and a young hero coming of age, Star Wars abounds with all the valor and villainy of Shakespeare's greatest plays. 'Tis a tale told by fretful droids, full of faithful Wookiees and fearsome Stormtroopers, signifying...pretty much everything.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, I would recommend to any Star Wars fan, it really helped fill in the blanks as to where Sidious got his start and training.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Star Wars: Darth Plagueis?
When Plagueis realized that he had been played by Sidious right before his death.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
I had a hard time getting into the book at first since I really like the performances of Marc Thompson. As the story progressed I did like how Daniel Davis was able to keep the voice correct.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No
Any additional comments?
Great story, Great addition for any Star Wars fan, but I felt that James Luceno goes into great detail on items, or locations that really puts the reader into a long winded unnecessary discription.

Dubbed the American Tolkien by Time magazine, George R. R. Martin has earned international acclaim for his monumental cycle of epic fantasy. GREAT book but Mr. Dotrice stunk
Revisado: 03-11-13
Would you consider the audio edition of A Dance with Dragons to be better than the print version?
I don't know I haven't read the books
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The different voices for the charachters really were distracting. Towards the end of the book Terrell sounded like Tywn Lanister and the Iron born sounded more Irish. REALLY BAD I would make Mr. Dotrice redo the audio.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It was hard to stop listening, the story was excellent and I couldn't wait to hear what happened next.
