More amazing storytelling, just shorter

Loved this collection of short stories. Such great writing, characters, action, mild comedy and what I like to call passive science fiction. It's back there, somewhere, but it's not the important point.

I really enjoyed this short narration.
Liked the sci-fi concepts of time dilation in a wormhole and what that would be like.
The story could use a little more oomph somewhere - not sure where, honestly. Like, why is it totally acceptable for the ship's service staff to play detective? Would have liked it if she had to sneak it more, have more skin in the game, more risk to her investigation. The focus was on the sci-fi aspects, which I get and appreciated, but yeah. That's what was missing.

Amazing story and performance

Fabulous narration, amazing story. I didn't like it at first but it turns out that you're not supposed to like it. It's describing an opening scenario that is upsetting to basically everybody, all made your characters in you included.
once I got into it I understood why the beginning was like it was and the story is incredible and innovative and thought-provoking. Thoroughly enjoyable.

just what I was looking for

This book is academic, but not boring. Detailed, but not too much. Deep enough to give me new prospective on the good shepherd metaphor in the Bible, but not so much that I lost the valuable context of God's love for us through Jesus. Excellent cultural commentary.
