Terrible one of series
Revisado: 06-11-10
It is amazing that the publisher allowed this book to be published. Who cares abpout Ms Brown's diatribe on so many issues -so much so the story is lost. There is very little mystery, animal and main characters allowed to be in this=I would not even give it one star=Boring also the narrator talked like she was bored too-what a mess-Where was Sneaky Pie? Did she have any input-if she did which I doubt she had too much catnip..I want my money back on this one

Historia
In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women—mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends—view one another. A deeply moving novel filled with poignancy, humor, and hope, The Help is a timeless and universal story about the lines we abide by, and the ones we don't.

A Must listen to book
Revisado: 08-28-09
Wonderful, ssad, laugh out loud funny, masterfuly done book. I loved it and loved the narrators who did a great job of all the characters. Wish I could continue to follow the characters and know what follows-this is a great book to listen to-one of the best I have listened to and one that reminds us all that we truly are the same no matter our color or creed

Historia
Why we think it’s a great listen: Never before has an author’s narration of his fiction been so important to fully grasping the book’s impact and global implications. Taking us from Afghanistan in the final days of its monarchy to the present, The Kite Runner is the unforgettable story of the friendship between two boys growing up in Kabul. Their intertwined lives, and their fates, reflect the eventual tragedy of the world around them.

Wonderful book
Revisado: 08-19-09
Powerful, well written and suspensful-made the war more personal for me , same as the A Thousand Splendid Suns-, the writer brings his culture to life and the horrible wars they have had to go through, Loved hearing the author actually speak his words-thank you for a wonderful audiobook
