Don’t do it. Just don’t the story line is choppy very rushed. Misogynistic male and so not in a good way at all beyond cringe. I love a good shifter romance and have read a few far fetched ones BUT this one is just a hard pass couldn’t finish.

Audio issues

So many times (maybe 6) the audio would change almost like overlapping the narrator who be reading but it was like 6 of him with a bit of a stutter. It got to the point I stopped listening and listened to another book.

Overall the story was good. The audio quality is what made it a 3 star book for me……get it on sale don’t use a credit or pay full price unless they fix the issue

Felt like a place marker, not a real story

So the story felt lacking maybe because there wasn't any real drama the story just flowed no emotional anything. I was not concerned or attached to the main characters.

Overall story was good…way too many sexy times I skipped so much of this short book.

I do not like reverse Harlem‘s and the last book made me a bit afraid to buy this book, but no reviews about it no way to know without buying it 😬
So wipe sweat from brow the MFL and MML stay together no extra pals and no cheating forced or otherwise.

The book ended on a good note, totally could see a spin off maybe somehow a baby and then the 2nd generation with the world safe they could become the hunted and the baby could save everyone.

Took a chance and LOVED it

I wasn’t sure since this is a new author and no reviews (when I bought it)
The drama was good (right amount)
The narrator kinda got on my nerves when doing the whiny parts (really nailed whiny)
The plot was good didn’t figure it out until the last minute. Would LOVE another book.

The epilogue was the best. I cried (which is how I rate a book) now I did listen to the whole Red series in the past 4 days so it was all fresh in my head.
The books did have a bit of that old insta love but hey it’s a book so I’ll allow it. Sigh I want my own team member.

A bit torn on this one

Some small spoilers maybe…..




So the ML was beyond ugly to the FL called her a wh**e, half-breed, stupid, useless etc etc etc for like 3/4 of the book.

In his thoughts he was even ugly “I want her but she isn’t for me and I need better”

I am telling the narrator “you don’t need that girl” come on 2nd chance mate………but no…..she was all like …..I could forgive him if he likes me… he was nice on this one time (even though at the end of the meeting he called her names)

So I am torn, I read a ton of these kinds of books most of the fl have no backbone are treated like trash and the guy changes at the end and there is a HEA.
Not sure why this one rubbed me wrong.

Overall the story line flowed the narrator did a good job. The poor me storyline did have me tearing up in a couple of places.

Sweet clean story

If you need a “happy” book without ANY drama one that gives you the super sweet happy feelings this is the one for you. Insta love check, bad guys(who don’t really do anything bad/scary) check super sappy HEA check

So I like have all her audiobooks…..this is my least favorite normally I listen in a day (at work) but I had a hard time with the main characters that I stopped half way through and listened to another book before finishing this one.

Have your tissues handy.



They handle the loss of a baby and all the feels. If you have ever had a miscarriage or buried a baby heads-up this will hit home. I give it five out of five on the cry scale.
