Historia
Jonathan Haidt skillfully combines two genres-philosophical wisdom and scientific research-delighting the listener with surprising insights. He explains, for example, why we have such difficulty controlling ourselves and sticking to our plans; why no achievement brings lasting happiness, yet a few changes in your life can have profound effects, and why even confirmed atheists experience spiritual elevation.

Liked a lot the ideas. It definitely took my attention every time, I had to listen to it in small parts, as it seemed like there’s so much info I need to digest and like I wanted to have it settled down in my mind. Very interesting. I would listen to it again.

Nice and interesting
Revisado: 11-18-19
I like the book. It has a fresh and interesting view, for me personally of course. I didn’t try to fight author’s ideas, just relaxed and listened. I think this book made me think about what we do and how we do, about our lives. I can say I took something for myself as well. It’s an easy to listen and understand book, I used to listen about an hour a time, not longer, just to have some time to “digest” what I’ve heard. If you want to hear some new ideas and new views on artistic living, and maybe rethink your hobbies, I suggest to listen Big Magic. Thank you.

Love this book
Revisado: 11-07-19
I like the way he speaks, I like the stories he tells, I like the steps he gives.. I didn’t listen to this book to become a great negotiator, but I definitely reconsidered my communication methods. Will come back to this book to take some notes.. Love the stories as well! I enjoyed this book a lot.

Historia
Letting Go describes a simple and effective means by which to let go of the obstacles to enlightenment and become free of negativity. During the many decades of the author's clinical psychiatric practice, the primary aim was to seek the most effective ways to relieve human suffering in all of its many forms. The inner mechanism of surrender was found to be of great practical benefit and is described in this book.

Strange, but interesting
Revisado: 11-07-19
I didn’t like it in the beginning, it seemed hard to get it - so what actually needs to be done?.. but later on I liked the book and the idea. Listened multiple times, as well as a background to fall asleep.. (sounds funny, but works for me!)

Historia
Fumio Sasaki is not an enlightened minimalism expert or organizing guru like Marie Kondo - he's just a regular guy who was stressed out and constantly comparing himself to others, until one day he decided to change his life by saying goodbye to everything he didn't absolutely need. The effects were remarkable: Sasaki gained true freedom, new focus, and a real sense of gratitude for everything around him.

Exceeded expectations
Revisado: 02-27-19
I thought it would be a book about how to reduce amount of things you have. But it appeared so much more than that. It showed me possible attitude towards things, objects, possessions, and relations, lifestyle.. Listening made me relax and put me in positive mood. Voice and reading is so calm and stable, that it became my fave when going to bed and even helped me falling asleep, like some meditation audio.. Which may sound like it’s boring, but it’s not. Although it is very calm book, centered and to the point. I recommend.
