Historia
The Unbound Soul is a memoir that tells the true story of a young boy who, in the midst of a vision, dedicates his life to spiritual awakening. As he matures, this promise leads him across the globe, gathering ancient knowledge and mastering martial, healing, and meditation arts. Along the way, subsequent visions reveal the rapidly approaching collapse that will shake our societies, our economic system, and the earth's ecology to the very core.

A must read!
Revisado: 05-17-23
"The Unbound Soul" by Richard Haight was one of the most inspiring spiritual journey's I have read. Richard was vulnerable, honest, curious, brave and determined in his quest. He provided tools for the reader to utilize on their own journey. I will be reading more from Richard Haight, as well as using the tools he has provided here. Thank you, Richard, for sharing this phenomenal, experiential journey!

Historia
Speaking to an audience of Western students, the Dalai Lama shows us how to apply basic Buddhist principles to our day-to-day lives. Starting with the very foundation of Buddhism, the Four Noble Truths, he provides the framework for understanding the Buddha’s first teachings on suffering, happiness, and peace. He follows with commentary on two of Buddhism’s most profound texts: The Eight Verses on Training the Mind and Atisha’s Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment, often referring to the former as one of his main sources of inspiration for the practice of compassion.

Clarified some important points for me, as well as inspiring further study. Narrator's voice was pleasant and easy to follow and understand. The writing itself was also clear and helpful.

Historia
Newly installed superintendent of the Virginia State Police, Judy Hammer, and her right hand and confidant, Andy Brazil, are at their wits' end trying to protect the public from the politicians - and vice versa. And amid the mayhem, an island off the coast of Virginia declares UDI, claiming its independence lies in the history of America's first settlers - those who set sail from London's Isle of Dogs in 1607.

Patricia goes to the dogs.

ok. this was the worst Patricia Cornwell ever! The story was stupid and it sounded like something written by a junior high student. HARD TO FINISH. I love Patricia Cornwell usually. And I usually enjoy her medical, forensic and computer info, as well as her characters Marino, Lucy and Kay. Hopefully they will return.
