haven't enjoyed a book this much for awhile

I have always been a fan but as horton's writing matures I have really began to appreciate the suspense and way he ties his work together. it will make sense to new readers but adds a real treat for the ones that have been around from the start!

decent story

I listen to alot of sci-fi, this one wasn't the worst but it was also a struggle to get through because of the narrator. he is really dry and doesn't portray much emotion. the author did a good job but personally I like more realistic sci fi. there was several times in the story things happened that couldn't realistically happen no matter how advanced we were.

hard one to put down

I review a couple books a week, a lot are almost painful. a few weeks ago I had another of zandri's books and loved it. I started this one without realizing it was the same author. after getting into the book I looked into it and caught the connection. literally the two best books I have had the chance to review for awhile and I'm not real big on this genre. his writing is great and wehrlen brings it to life perfectly.

great read with a great twist

With a slow start I wasn't sure I would enjoy this but by the end I was sold. I thought the author did a great job bringing a new perspective to a pretty saturated genre. i also enjoy the fact that I didn't see alot of the plot twists coming.
