This book had a slow burning heat with great chemistry and banter between the characters. A great retelling regency style of the Cocky Bastard book. I already read and loved Ambrosia and Chance’s story but these narrators were wonderful!

Great storytelling

I enjoyed this story of the two meeting again later on in life. After disliking each other when they were younger, they are put in a position of ward and guardian while Willow’s father is away. And I always like when there is a mystery to solve. It was easy to follow even though I have not read the previous book. I also thought the narrator did a good job alternating between male and female voices. I would definitely read or listen to more books from this author.

Great start to the series!

I’m not a huge fan of time travel but I love a good romance with a Scot in it. I really like the premise of the brothers going back to find their mother. Rhys, the oldest brother, and Maggie, the Scottish lass he meets when he goes back in time, were a sweet and spicy couple. Of course, I adore Tim Campbell’s voice and he does a wonderful job with both male and female roles. When it ended I was like more I need more, so I am definitely looking forward to the rest of the series!

I read this book when it was initially released in 2015?? Falling in love with your best friend’s little sister is one of my favorite tropes. I loved the additions made since the first release. Christi Caldwell had me feeling all the ups and downs along with Winnie & Trent and as always love Tim Campbell’s narration and his perfect voice!

My heart literally heart, it was ripped apart at the beginning and then was healed by the end. I was happy that Merrill and Isolde got their second chance.
I also really enjoy this narrator she does a really good job at both sexes.

I actually read the first book in this series prior but still enjoyed this prequel. If you like the premise of male courtesans and bluestockings you will love this! It is spicy but yet sweetly romantic. I always love Darcy Stark as a narrator as well! He is one of my favorites.
