Narrator reads as if every sentence is a question

She speaks clearly and pronounces things properly but turning everything into a question really bothers me as a listener. The story is pretty good but I think the author has created the main character's personality to be inconsistent in her maturity. I understand she's a teenage girl but it's like she's a different person sometimes and when we get taken through her tantrums, it's exhausting.

Stop with the music!!!!

I came here to say the same thing as the only other reviewer; please stop putting the ridiculous background music! You are ruining your own podcast. I'm sure I would be able to actually enjoy and recieve the messages you have to share if I wasn't distracted the entire time by "AHHHHHHHHH ahhhhhhhhh!" I seriously can't even understand what you're saying half the time. It's a shame because you clearly know about astrology and mythology and I want to hear about these things. I can listen to that kind of music on my own time.

Expanding, life changing, thought provoking

I didn't exactly know what to expect from this book when I began it. The reader has a unique voice that I don't find particularly attractive, but still soothing enough that I fell asleep listening several times. He did well with inflection as he moved between voicing the different subjects and the doctor and then reading from the author's perspective. The content totally blew my mind. Dr. Newton takes for granted that his reader is already a believer in past lives and will trust in the reports he makes on info from patients under hypnosis, which is fine by me. I've read other books on past lives and soul journeys that bore me with their insistence on convincing me that the information is true, rather than simply sticking to the juicy content that my mind revels in. I feel like many of my questions have been answered, but that they've also opened the doors to newer questions. If everything in this book is true, the universe is a far more interesting place than I believed it to be. And the prospect that death is but a doorway, is very tantalizing indeed.

Such a gem. Take the journey!

I was hooked from beginning to end! Lee delivered better than any reader I have ever heard before. Her voice and accent inflections with each character was nothing short of marvelous. All the twists and turns, the back and forth on this journey through time and the perception through so many lenses truly presents the depth of the author. I laughed, I cried and I sat on the precipice, ready to jump in at any moment for any of Morton's terrific, dynamic characters. This sentimental mystery will touch you and thrill you in ways you didn't even know you could be touched and thrilled. I'm still in awe at the beautiful, tremendous secret revealed.
