Slow is correct, but patience is a virtue

I liked it was different than most other Goblin books, no high stakes save the world peril, though the absence of no real threats was a bit lulling. that being said the sex scenes were a tad short imo but somehow satisfying. do hope for a sequel following the ending closely.

Conan meets D&D

I did like to see Conan back and about in a new book. Subtle hints and references to past classics and a bit of Lovecraft and am convinced this is certainly the same barbarian as recorded previously. Though there is a modern fantasy RPG infusion where Wizards have much more offensive magic spells than the subtle and ancient Sorcerers Conan had dealt with in the past. the stories themselves seem like D&D modules , not that it's a bad thing but it does make it a little predictable, though that's the only true gripe I can conjure.

Despite my efforts to uphold my oath, I am thrust into a new world to start my slaughter once again. But the twisted creatures of my nightmares aren’t here.

MC is competent and makes the best of bad situation.

Compared to other Goblin books , I'd have to say this one was my favorite, yeah the MC has a gaggle of Goblin girls, but there's also some real tension and more than a few times I thought they would get caught. I do hope book 2,3 and more are in the works.

unexpected as an audiobook but worth it

first RPG book I've seen in this format, and a great one to pick for such. I do hope more classic source books for Cyberpunk start getting this treatment.
