Y’all. I was not prepared for The Dugout. I went into this book looking for a cute romantic comedy… boy was I in for a rude awakening.

Yes, there is romance and there is a lot of comedy. Do not worry, if you were like me and looking for a romcom - this book is HI-LAR-I-OUS!! I woke my husband up several times laughing so hard I had tears coming out of my eyes.

Milly is so awkward and ridiculous that you cannot help but love her. And the way Carson is with her is so super swoony I did not know what to do with myself. He appreciates her awkwardness and does everything to make her feel uplifted rather than defeated. Did I mention how swoony Carson is! <3

However, even with all the outrageously amusing scenes in the book (and there are a lot), I am warning you… THIS BOOK IS GOING RIP YOUR HEART OUT! Your heart will be mended of course… BUT IT WILL BE TORN TO SHREADS FIRST!!!

I was not prepared you guys. Not prepared at all. Meghan Quinn threw is all into the book and did not hold back.

These narrators were ON POINT. But I mean, when is Sebastian York ever not on point? I believe Samantha Peachwood is new to me, but she does sound familiar. Either way, she nailed Milly’s character and had me both laughing and crying.

I have never read(listened to) Julia Kent before but I’m super excited to listen to more after getting a taste with Little Miss Perfect!

I knew going in that this was a super fun, super sweet short that is a preview into Fluffy. And that’s EXACTLY what I got! I was laughing out loud and got completely drawn into these characters!

I really enjoyed it, really enjoyed Erin Mallon (as always) and can not wait to get the rest of Mallory and Will’s story!

Only a story narrated by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross, that was written by Natasha Madison would be able to make me cry!

Ya’ll. It’s not even a sad story!!! But the emotional pull between the characters is so well executed that I could not help by cry towards the end of the book. I don’t want to give anything away so I’ll just leave it at: there is a scene where you are presented with a very emotional point of view from one of the characters AND IT RIPPED MY HEART OUT!!

I really can't say enough about this whole series. Hollywood Playboy not only got me hooked on Natasha Madison, but also on Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. THEY ARE MAGIC TOGETHER!

Oh what an ending. I was not very patient in my waiting for the conclusion of these characters. Waiting for the conclusion to this duet nearly killed me! Collateral hooked me in and I needed to know everything!

Kai and Wen brought the chemistry between the characters to life and had me completely emerged in it the whole time! They hands down one of my favorite narrating duos! I will listen to anything they narrate!

As far as the story, I was a little disappointed in the Stefan. I was hoping in the conclusion of the story for some huge turning point with him in his relationship with Gabriella, where we see the shift of the controlling asshole to someone who has fallen madly in love with her. While yes, we see where he very clearly cares for her, the Stefan we meet in Collateral is still very much there most of Damage and I just don’t know if there was ever a big point of him (I guess you could say) redeeming himself.

Overall - amazing listen! I would highly recommend to those who like their romance a little on the dark side!

I have been looking forward to Dex’s story since I started listening to this series!! Now, don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed my time with each of these Riggs brothers. Not one of them could disappoint me.

BUUTTTT… I really couldn’t wait for my time with Dex. :) I just knew somehow that Dex was going to be my favorite and the best would be saved for least.

I was not wrong, Dex was worth the wait!

However, I will say that I felt like this story was a little more rushed then the previous books and I didn’t get my full fill of Dex. That being said, I still loved Make Me Beg. Lauren and Dex both broke my heart and then put it all back together.

The narrators are fantastic and did an amazing job!

Oh these Riggs Brothers. I just can't get enough of them!

I’m determined to listen to this series on audio so the wait while knowing they are readily available in ebook has been a killer! But totally worth it to listen to Jason Clarke say dirty things in my ear. :)

Now Work Me Up did not have as much drama and angst as the previous two books. And I’m ok with it because it wouldn’t have fit Ryan and Kate’s story. With that being said this is a continuation of the story from the previous books. We have different main characters but you’ll be a little lost if you don’t read the previous books, Drive Me Wild and Take Me Down first.

All 4 brothers have reconnected now that their dad is in jail and they’ve taken over his business. Ryan is a baseball player who can’t play baseball anymore and is also a single dad. I didn’t know where Julie Kriss planned to take his story now that he couldn’t play baseball anymore but I was pleasantly surprised. :)

Kate is a one-night stand he had 5 years ago and is now working for him as his nanny. The chemistry between the two characters was FIRE! It was such a delicious slow-burn!

Seriously. If you haven’t met these Riggs Brothers yet - you need to!

I have become a huge Natasha Knight addict. When I was given the opportunity to listen to Collateral I jumped all over it! Especially when I saw who the narrators were. I love them both!

Wen Ross is one of my favorites, he does an amazing job with all the fine details! And Mackenzie Cartwright did an amazing job with Natasha’s Taken and Torn!

I’ll start off by saying that an age gap with the heroine is only 18 can sometimes turn me away from the story. However, with everything Gabriela has endured during those 18 years of her life, I have to admit that she is definitely older than she should be.

Natasha does a great job with Gabriela’s character and making sure the reader doesn’t feel uncomfortable with her being with Stefan.

Stefan is also a very complex character that Natasha took great care in developing and making sure we are rooting for this anti-hero.

I have not gotten enough of these characters and this story. I am DYING for Damage to be in my hands right now!

Addicted to the Riggs brothers!

After listening to Drive Me Wild I couldn’t wait to dive into Take Me Down! I can confess that I am absolutely addicted to these Riggs brothers! Drive Me Wild introduced all four brothers to us and Julie Kriss did a fabulous job giving them all unique personas that have me obsessed with every one of them!

But let’s talk about Jace. Who doesn’t love a virgin hero? They’re rare and have become one of my favorite tropes!

Everyone has their assumptions about Jace Riggs but no one can understand his past actions and why he did the things he did. This is what drew him to me the most. The intrigue. You will WANT to understand Jace. No, let me correct that. You will NEED to understand Jace!

Tara is strong and independent, and just everything I love in a heroine! She was absolutely Jace’s perfect match.

I am also loving the story line with the brothers and how they are reconnecting. I am anxious for the next book in the series in for no other reason then for the interactions with the brothers and watching them bond again!

I am so excited I got the chance to listen to Loving Ashe on audio, because I do not know if I would have been able to finish had I read the book. It took me a while to get into it. It was a slow start but eventually I really got into the story and didn’t want it to stop!

And on that note, it does look like this is a duet. It didn’t really end on a cliffhanger, but you can tell that there is way more to this story. I can’t wait to dive into Loving Riley!

The only thing I’ll say is I wish the story had more focus on Riley and Ashe building their relationship. It seemed like the primary focus was on Riley’s past and the slow insights she was getting about how things really happened before she met Ashe.

Don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed the twists and revelations in the story! I just with there had been more focus on Riley and Ashe themselves.

I’m not sure if I’ve listen to Tracy Marks before or not, but I thought she did fantastic with this story and I would absolutely love to listen to her some more!

The author is a new to me author, but I doubt this will be the last. I know I plan to dive into Loving Riley but I will for certain also be cruising through her back catalog as well!

Got addicted to the Riggs Brothers!

Julie Kriss is a new to me author, but I can see myself already becoming addicted to her words! However, Erin Mallon and Joe Arden are absolutely not new to me and happen to be some of my favorite narrators! I could listen to them read the phone book and I’d be just fine.

Now, I did end up thoroughly loving these characters. However, Emily, our heroine, takes some warming up to. The way she treats Luke, our hero, in the beginning doesn’t win herself over to anyone. She’s the daughter of the most respected cop in town and he is the son of one of most disliked men in town.

When they both end up back in their hometown at the same time years later, of course sparks are going to fly between the two.

What I really loved in the story was Julie Kriss being able to show these character’s growth. Even when the story takes place years later when they’re back in their hometown, Julie still has these characters learning about themselves and what they want.

Drive Me Wild has absolutely wetted my appetite for the rest of the Riggs Brothers.
