Marlin & Faith meet under tragic circumstances but grow close very quickly. The narrators do a great job, the story’s emotions really come through. Faith’s growing confidence in herself also comes through. Great story and characters

Maisey does it again

I’m really liking the dynamics between Maisey and Nash. As the stories involve, the characters are evolving and becoming more three dimensional. And EZ still gets in her own way but the situation’s are becoming more complex and mature.

This was a quick listen. I love the music theme and the history between the main characters. I also like that I didn’t have to turn it off when my teen walked into the room.

Maizie is getting better

I love the Maizie Albright character and she is definitely developing in this book. I feel like we all have a little bit of Maizie in us, when she’s faced with a difficult situation she fakes it till she makes it. Like investigating a murder and creating the character in your head that you want to be and then attempting to become it. It’s like she’s her own full-time professional coach. Her relationship with Nash is also developing which is nice to see. Definitely a fun book.

Love this series

I read all of the Pam books in the series and loved them but the audiobook is great. Martyr does such a great job bringing the characters to life. I was a bit skeptical because it is such an emotional read that I wasn’t quite sure how it would come across on audio. Boy did she prove me wrong. This is a must listen to book

I’m obsessed with this story

There aren’t enough stars to give to this story. I loved the book but the audiobook blows it away. Less a did an amazing job, I feel like I know her after listening. I wanted to jump into the story and participate. I found myself looking up terms (dance moves) mentioned that I wasn’t familiar with and one of the songs that Charlie dances too. Rie has a knack for this, ive done it before with other books of hers. If you are on the fence with this audiobook, jump off and hit the play button

A second chance they didn’t know they wanted

City life and country life collide for Mercy when she goes back home. The boy next door is still there but all grown up. I loved the city slicker boyfriend who follows her and the bathroom antics with Wade - Hysterical. The narration was great, I felt like my friend was telling me the story, very natural, good pace, great characters.

Better in audio!

I read this book when it first came out and loved it. I really didn’t think it was going to get any better but listening to it blew me away. The different character voices really came to life and I forgot that I was listening to one narrator, she did such a great job.
The story itself is amazing but the narrating made it even better!

Megan is developing as a character

As each of these stories progress, the characters are really developing for me. The first book of the series had some great parent issues. She handled them like a champ, I was very proud of her. In the second book there is some friend drama. Which Megan also handles very well. No one likes conflict. The third book has some job issues going on, that is never fun. I would love to see Megan and Jack’s personal relationship continue to develop. But I really enjoy these stories. And as they go on, they are getting more complex which I appreciate

I'm a sucker for Christmas stories

This was a great shorter book to listen to. Small towns with everyone knowing everyone else's business but during the holiday season, they go all out. I was routing for Tara & Justin the whole time and my heart was breaking for his little sister as she worked through her sadness and pain.
