I like the balance in the mc. he quickly becomes OP but his appearance because of doing so causes him grief. and I like that he isn't just given power for free. he will have to earn it in the future

I enjoyed this story immensely. I have been a big fan of Tao Wong for a couple of years now. I think he does a great job of creating fantastical worlds and the world of a thousand li doesn't disappoint. this story had a good pace that kept me entertained all throughout
