Historia
The decision to start a new life is never an easy one, but for Joe the transition was far from figurative. Becoming a permanent addition to a game world, it doesn't take long to learn that people with his abilities are actively hunted. In fact, if the wrong people gained knowledge of what he was capable of, assassins would appear in droves.

Best litrpg I've heard in a few months. Loads better than anything the "father of American litrpg" could come up with.

Wonderful writing in a similar style to Brandon sanderson, with the same engaging energy and masterful weaving of narratives. Michael Kramer is such an amazing performer, bringing these characters to life in your head.

Solid fun but sloppy editing
Revisado: 04-23-20
It's a fun book with good narration; a good light escape for 15 hours. The sound editing had some major and minor errors that caught me off guard. Long random pauses, esp in the last chapters, and one misplaced audio segment from the end of the book overlapping a segment towards the beginning. Annoying and containing possible spoilers.

Great ideas, ok writing, amazing narration
Revisado: 10-07-19
The idea of a sleeping intelligent earth reclaiming it's domain is great. But his writing needs work. Not bad just seems to jump btw styles. I'm praying he develops soon because I like his ideas. Luke Daniels is the saving grace of this book. He brings otherwise stilted characters and action to life.

Historia
Ashok Vadal was once a member of the highest caste in all of Lok. As a Protector, he devoted his life to upholding the Law, rooting out those who still practiced the old ways and delivering justice with his ancestor blade Angruvadal. None was more merciless than he in stamping out the lingering belief in gods and demons among the casteless. His brutality was legendary and celebrated. But soon Ashok learned that his life to that point had been a lie. He himself, senior member of the Protector Order, was casteless. He had been nothing more than an unwitting pawn in a political game.

Fantastic writing as always
Revisado: 10-17-18
Scalzi creates universes that are unique and engaging in a seemingly effortless way. I believed that this world was real. Then he fills his creations with characters of depth who grow and become real themselves. I've been waiting for this book since I finished the last and am sad to have to wait again. Will Wheaton, a phenomenal job bringing this story to life, just as you always do. Thank you both for your imagination and talent

If you've gotten to this point in the series you know that it is more than just worth the time to listen to. This series is one of my favorites, I have listened to the first 3 back to back (Thats like 90 hrs) loving every minute. Every character has depth and purpose. Every. Single. Character. Drew Hayes' writing is meaningful, witty, and driven. I've laughed out loud a lot while listening. The narrator is one of the best I have ever heard, on par with thr likes of bronson pinchot. He brings even more depth and suspense to this already addictive series. Seriously, thank you both writer and narrator for bringing more joy into my life with your work. Fantastic!

Knowledge is power. That would be the motto of Lander University, had it not been snatched up and used to death by others long before the school was founded. For while Lander offers a full range of courses to nearly all students, it also offers a small number of specialty classes to a very select few. Lander is home to the Hero Certification Program, a curriculum designed to develop students with superhuman capabilities, commonly known as Supers, into official Heroes.

The writing is reminiscent of the Harry Potter series, but for a slightly older crowd. The characters are all several dimensions deep, including minor parts. Very well devised plot, and funny as hell. Great, fun to listen to book. The narrator is freaking amazing, bringing light and excitement to every one of the many voices. So glad to find another series to binge on. Well done, and thank you.

Holy shit worth it
Revisado: 06-27-18
I honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy or even finish this series of stories; i bought it in a slim hope that it would pass a few hours to laugh at how bad it was. I was so excited to be wrong. This collection of sort of short stories had me laughing out loud in public and getting lost in thought about the characters and plots. A spiritual successor of firefly indeed. Loved it.
