It’s a good thing this was a short story. Why on earth the main characters just poured their hearts out to each other via voicemail for 2 years and never listened to a single one and never talked to each other is beyond me. It was produced well, the main characters were just infuriating in their immaturity and lack of attempt to actually talk to each other.

This is the first title after four years of subscriptions, which I have not been able to complete due to the narration. I believe the story would be enjoyable to read in print, however is completely ruined by a poor narrator.

Would you try another book from Catherine Gayle and/or Pearl Hewitt?
While the narrator has a lovely English accent, she uses different voices for the characters that are so obnoxious, I find it hard to like the characters. The story was good enough that I'll order the next in the serious, but the main characters didn't have me snagged. Their plights and the conflict didn't grab me.
