Historia
Maddie Goldbloom stitched up a plan to ensure everything in her life was perfect - from a career in fashion to a chic NYC apartment to a pediatrician boyfriend. When her ex, Chase Black, storms back into her life with an outrageous request, her immediate reaction is to refuse him. But he only wants to fulfill his father’s last wish. So even though he’s the man who broke her heart, playing his fiancée shouldn’t be hard, especially if it means she gets to watch the arrogant devil squirm a bit.

Laughing with tears
Revisado: 07-17-24
This book made me laugh and cry. It was beautiful written. And as always I love to listen to Sebastian York’s beautiful voice. The only I would change is for the author to not have said goddamn. Would have been much better without that word.

Donovan and I met at a coffee shop to do the suitcase exchange. Turned out, it wasn’t just his voice that was sexy. The man holding my luggage was absolutely gorgeous, and we had an immediate spark. He got me to admit that I’d snooped in his bag and then convinced me to make it up to him by letting him buy me coffee. Coffee led to dinner, dinner led to dessert, and dessert led to spending an entire weekend together. So what did I do to repay him for his kindness? I waited until he was in the shower, then ghosted him.

I think I would listen to just about anything narrated by these two. Andi Arndt and Sebastian York have amazing voices and a great talent for narrating the story. Vi Keeland did a great job of making me laugh and swoon. It was a great read all the way around

A great ending to a great series
Revisado: 06-10-21
Ransom Riggs did an outstanding job with this series. There were a few inconsistencies that I saw but nothing major. He did a great job with character formation & weaving the plot. Kirby Heyborne did an EXCELLENT job with narration. I loved how each person had their own voice. It was wonderful.

Historia
Woody Bookman hasn’t spoken a word in his eleven years of life. Not when his father died in a freak accident. Not when his mother, Megan, tells him she loves him. For Megan, keeping her boy safe and happy is what matters. But Woody believes a monstrous evil was behind his father’s death and now threatens him and his mother. And he’s not alone in his thoughts. An ally unknown to him is listening.

As all Dean Koontz books this one will keep you guessing but in the end warm your heart. He does an excellent job with suspense & weaving goodness & dogs into the story. Edoardo Ballerini is an excellent narrator.

Historia
It was the summer of my life. I’d met the guy of my dreams. Unfortunately, he was the son of my uppity employer - and very much off-limits. But Gavin was a rebel. He knew his mother would disown him if she found out about us; in his eyes, we just had to be careful. He never treated me as his mother did - like hired help. Instead, Gavin put me on a pedestal and loved me harder than I’d ever been loved in my life.

Best listen ever!
Revisado: 06-10-20
I can not say enough about this book! Penelope Ward did an excellent job. And as always Andi & Sebastian did a stellar job of bringing the characters to life. I love listening to their voices. The only criticism that I have is that G&@ damn was used a few times. Other than that it was perfect!

Nonny Frett understands the meanings of "rock" and "hard place" better than any woman ever born. She's got two mothers, "one deaf-blind and the other four baby steps from flat crazy". She's got two men: her husband, who's easing out the back door; and her best friend, who's laying siege to her heart in her front yard. She has a job that holds her in the city, and she's addicted to a little girl who's stuck deep in the country.

Another good read
Revisado: 03-06-20
This book is a little strange at first but In true Jackson form it turns out to be an excellent book. I was disappointed at first that Jackson was not the narrator of the book but Taber did a good job. I did not like the music that played at every important part. It made it harder to hear the narrator. All in all a good listen
