Historia
In a vastly overpopulated near-future world, businesses have taken the place of governments and now hold all political power. States exist merely to ensure the survival of huge transnational corporations. Advertising has become hugely aggressive and boasts some of the world’s most powerful executives. Through advertising, the public is constantly deluded into thinking that all the products on the market improve the quality of life.

Solid Work
Revisado: 03-14-22
Solid corporate distopia that mostly keeps up an impressive pace. Interesting lead character whose character development could be better integrated with events. World building is pragmatic and detailed; the author may have a background in corporate sales. Recommended, but not passionately.

Historia
Richard K. Morgan has received widespread praise for his astounding 25th-century novels featuring Takeshi Kovacs, and has established a growing legion of fans. Mixing classic noir sensibilities with a searing futuristic vision of an age when death is nearly meaningless, Morgan returns to his saga of betrayal, mystery, and revenge, as Takeshi Kovacs, in one fatal moment, joins forces with a mysterious woman who may have the power to shatter Harlan's World forever.

Great story, incompetent audio delivery
Revisado: 01-26-20
The audio echoes, the pacing is bad, and the narrator mispronounces the main character's name in comically inept parody of a running joke in the series. Could not listen to the first ten minutes after enjoying both previous titles immensely.
