My favorite queen

Well done. This book focuses not only on Anne's flaws as a human, but on her desire to survive. She had to be cunning and intelligent and outmanuveur people. It wasn't ONLY sleeping with the king. Can you imagine walking in on YOUR husband with someone? It must have been hard on her.
This book is a great representation of what she could have been like, based on record and letters recovered. Another wonderful Weir book.

A fascinating idea

The storyline is a great imagining of what could have occurred during Anna of Kleve’s life.
Using as much historical data as she could, even going so far as to research names and relations to make sure, Alison Weir crafted a historical fiction worth reading! Do I think it’s the truth? Probably not, but it wasn’t meant to be. To those saying this book is filth because it is not 100% historical, please remember that this is not meant to be. The author took her chance to use all the research she had and give it feeling and imagination!
I love this series, and I can’t wait to start book 5 today!

Let me start out by saying that I don't think the book is for everyone.
It is a very open book about the fact that there are a lot of different ways to have a family now, and that a lot of them are still not accepted as families because they don't fit in with the standard model.
It was interesting to hear firsthand accounts from people living these different types, and it was really informative. It gave me a chance to hear what they feel, rather than just creating my own opinions from the outside.
